Randy Garber (soccer)
Randy Garber is a former U.S. soccer midfielder who played four seasons in the North American Soccer League and two seasons in the Major Indoor Soccer League. He earned one cap with the U.S. national team and currently coaches youth soccer in Abington, Pennsylvania. Player High school and college Garber attended Abington Senior High School, graduating in 1971. He was inducted into the Abington Hall of Fame in 1998. After graduating High School, he attended Mercer County Community College where he was an All-American both years. He then attended Penn State University where he played on the men’s soccer team in 1973 and 1974. He was recruited by coach Herb Schmidt to play soccer at PSU. He was named a 1974 honorable mention (third team) All-American. Roslyn, Pennsylvania
Roslyn is an unincorporated community in Abington Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. Originally called Hillside, the name Roslyn came from rose gardens that once grew there. The first known person of European descent to settle the area was John Tyson, who bought a tract of land here in 1717. He built lime kilns to turn the abundant local limestone into quicklime, starting an industry that operated into the late 20th century. The first rail connection to Roslyn was built by the Northeast Pennsylvania Railroad in 1873. Tim Logush
Tim Logush (born September 16, 1952 in Richmond Heights, Missouriho is a retired U.S. soccer forward. He spent one season in the North American Soccer League and five in the American Soccer League, and earned one cap with the U.S. national team. High school and college Logush grew up in a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri and attended Mercy High School, graduating in 1971. In 1971, he played for St. Louis Kutis S.C., winning the National Amateur Cup with them. He then entered St. Louis University where he played on the men's soccer team from 1971 to 1974. The Billikens won the 1972 and 1973 NCAA championships. He finished his collegiate career with twenty-four goals and twenty-two assists.
