Randy Fitzsimmons
The Hives are a Swedish rock band that rose to prominence in the early 2000s during the garage rock revival. Their mainstream success came with the release of the album ''Veni Vidi Vicious'', containing the single "Hate to Say I Told You So". The band has been acclaimed by music critics as one of the best live rock bands. The Hives have released five studio albums: '' Barely Legal'' (1997), ''Veni Vidi Vicious'' (2000), ''Tyrannosaurus Hives'' (2004), ''The Black and White Album'' (2007) and ''Lex Hives'' (2012). They have one compilation album, ''Your New Favourite Band'' (2001) and they have issued a live DVD, '' Tussles in Brussels'' (2005). Post-punk revival (also known as garage rock revival,J. Stuessy and S. D. "Main Offender" is a song from The Hives' second album, ''Veni Vidi Vicious'', as the fourth track. It was released again on the compilation ''Your New Favourite Band''. Niklas Almqvist, Nicholaus Arson notes the song as a favorite. The song reached number 24 in the UK Singles Chart in May 2002. This was a re-release, the single having failed to chart when it was originally released in 2000. ''Lex Hives'' is the fifth full-length album by Swedish Rock music, rock band The Hives. The album was released on 1 June 2012 in Sweden, and internationally from 4 June 2012. ''The Black and White Album'' is the fourth studio album by Swedish rock band The Hives. The track listing for ''The Black and White Album'' was confirmed on the band's German website on 13 September 2007, and later through ''NME''. The Hives recorded 20 to 30 songs (including seven recorded with producers The Neptunes) for this album from which they finally chose the best. ''Tyrannosaurus Hives'' is the third full-length album by the Hives, released on 20 July 2004. It is their first album since ''Veni Vidi Vicious'' from 2000, and also their first original release on a major label. If the front cover of the album is removed from the case and lined up with the back, one can see that there is an extra pair of legs, hinting at Randy Fitzsimmons' existence.
