Randy Bolden
Randy Bolden (born ) is an American college basketball head coach for Mississippi College. He took over in April 2021, with previous head coaching experience at the high school and junior college levels. Playing career College Bolden's collegiate career was at Texas Southern University between 1994 and 1998. A point guard, Bolden was twice named the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Player of the Year, first as a junior and again as a senior. He was born in Jackson, Mississippi and attended Forest Hill High School prior to enrolling at Texas Southern. In Bolden's four years at Texas Southern, he scored approximately 2,000 points and finished in the national top 10 in scoring on two occasions. He was the SWAC Freshman of the Year in 1994–95, and during the 1995 NCAA Tournament he helped the 15th-seeded Tigers nearly upset 2nd-seeded Arkansas, the defending national champions (Arkansas won, 79–78). The Mississippi College Choctaws are the athletic teams of Mississippi College. The Choctaws are full members of the Gulf South Conference. The Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) is the official sanctioning body of all public and some private junior high and high school academic and athletic competitions in the state of Mississippi. It is a non-profit organization and is headquartered in Clinton, Mississippi. The MHSAA is a member of the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS). It came into existence as a daily newspaper in 1981 when two formerly independent newspapers, Vísir and Dagblaðið, merged. Early on it was one of the largest newspapers in Iceland and at one point had a 64% readership in Iceland. The Keflavík men's basketball team, commonly known as Keflavík, is the men's professional basketball department of Keflavík ÍF (Keflavík, íþrótta- og ungmennafélag), based in the town of Reykjanesbær in Iceland. Kevin Granger
Kevin Granger (born December 30, 1973) is a retired American professional basketball player who is best known for leading NCAA Division I in scoring with a 27.0 points per game average in 1995–96. Granger grew up in Scooba, Mississippi and attended Kemper County High School (KCHS). He earned First Team All-District, First Team All-State and All-America honors after leading KCHS to the 3-A State Championship. Granger then attended Texas Southern University and became a four-year starter on the varsity basketball team while playing the point guard position. By the time he graduated in 1996 he had established himself as one of the school's all-time leaders in points, assists (467) and steals (146). Granger was named the Southwestern Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year, 1994 SWAC Tournament MVP, and was a two-time First Team All-SWAC and Black College All-American selection.
