Randolph-Henry High School is the only high school located in Charlotte County, Virginia, enrolling approximately 680 students (2008-2009) according to the Randolph-Henry guidance department. Norfolk State University
Norfolk State University (NSU) is a public historically black university in Norfolk, Virginia. It is a member of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund and Virginia High-Tech Partnership. History The institution was founded on September 18, 1935 as the Norfolk Unit of Virginia Union University. Eighty-five students attended the first classes held in 1935. Keysville is a town in Charlotte County, Virginia, United States. The population was 832 at the 2010 census. One of two branches of Southside Virginia Community College is in Keysville. The surrounding area has tobacco and mixed farming. Geography Keysville is in eastern Charlotte County. U.S. Routes 15 and U.S. Route 360, a four-lane highway, forms the eastern border of the town, while Virginia State Route 40 passes through the center. The NC State Wolfpack is the nickname of the athletic teams representing North Carolina State University. John McCargo (born August 19, 1983) is a former American football defensive tackle. He was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He played college football at North Carolina State. McCargo also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Chicago Bears.
