Randhir Singh Of Kapurthala
Sir Randhir Singh Sahib Bahadur (26 March 1831 – 2 April 1870) was the ruling Raja of the princely state of Kapurthala State, Kapurthala in the British India, British Empire of India from 1852 until his death in 1870. Randhir Singh Sahib Bahadur succeeded his father Nihal Singh Sahib Bahadur as the ruler of Kapurthala on 13 September 1852. During the Indian Rebellion of 1857, Randhir Singh assisted the British, first at Jalandhar and later led a mixed force in Awadh where he fought against the rebel soldiers. Randhir Singh died near the Gulf of Aden on 2 April 1870 on a visit to Europe on board the SS Golconda (1887), SS ''Golconda''. His sons were Raja Kharak Singh Sahib Bahadur, who succeeded him and Harnam Singh, Raja Harnam Singh, among others. Among his grandsons were Maharaja Jagatjit Singh, who ruled Kapurthala for 67 years and Sardar Bhagat Singh, who was one of the few Indian justices of High Court during the British Raj. Randhir Singh Of Bharatpur
Randhir Singh (r.1805–1823) () was the ruler of the Princely state Bharatpur State, Bharatpur and successor of Ranjit Singh of Bharatpur. Randhir Singh ascended the throne after death of his father Ranjit Singh of Bharatpur, Ranjit Singh in 1805. Randhir Singh tried to improve the state administration in various ways. He abolished the huge army that was creating disturbances and rebels due to delay in payment of salaries in order to maintain peace and reduced taxes in the state. He helped the British rule to reduce the terror of Pindari, Pindaris. He ruled Bharatpur State, Bharatpur for 18 years with harmony and vision. He constructed Cenotaph, Chhatri and Palace in memory of his father Ranjit Singh of Bharatpur, Ranjit Singh. He had no son. He died in 1823. His successor was his brother Baldeo Singh. References

Bhai Sahib Bhai Randhir Singh ji (1878–1961) was a Sikh leader who started the Gurdwara Sudhaar Movement, and founded the Akhand Kirtani Jatha. Life Bhai Sahib Bhai Randhir Singh ji was born as Basant Singh in Narangwal, Ludhiana district, Punjab on July 7, 1878 in a Sikh Jat family. His father Natha Singh worked as a District Inspector of Schools and as a Judge in the High Court of the State of Nabha. He completed his schooling in Nabha and higher education from Government and Foreman Christian Colleges at Lahore. Singh wrote various books on Sikh theology, philosophy, and the Sikh way of life. He was charged in 1914 with waging war against the British Crown and had to undergo life-imprisonment from 1914 to 1931. Randhir Singh (born 18 October 1946) is an Indian sports administrator and a former Olympic-level trap and skeet shooter. Singh is one of India's most influential sports administrators and is noted for his wide-ranging international connections. He has held many roles in his sports administration career. Singh is the Acting President of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), beginning his term on 11 September 2021. His other roles in international sports administration include being a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) from 2001 to 2014 and since 2014, he has been an honorary member of the IOC. He has also served as the Secretary General of the OCA from 1991–2015. Randhir Singh (academic)
Randhir Singh (2 January 1922 – 31 January 2016) was a Marxist scholar, political theorist and teacher from India. His native village was Manuke in present-day Moga district of Punjab, India. However, he was brought up in Lahore where his father was working as a doctor. He is known as one of the founders of the student movement in the country in the 1930s and a freedom fighter who remained in jail during India's freedom movement in the 1940s. Most of the period he taught at Delhi University. Although he was a teacher of political science, students from other subjects also used to attend his class and listen to Singh, even standing outside classroom premises or around windows as his classroom was always full. He retired as Professor from Delhi University in 1987. His death has got attention of some of the world leaders like Baburam Bhattarai who called Singh a great scholar of the present time.
