Randall House Publications is an American publisher of Christian literature and church resources based in Nashville, Tennessee. Randall House has 11 departments: Administrative, Book Division, Training, Design, Distribution, Digital/IT, Editorial, Marketing, Printing, Sales, and Student & Children's Ministry. History In 1935, the National Association of Free Will Baptists (NAFWB) selected Rev. Winford Davis of Missouri to become the first Sunday School Secretary. Only three years later, the NAFWB elected the first Sunday School Board, which developed the National Sunday School Convention (NSSC) in 1940. Since 1940, the work of the Sunday School Board has been promoted via the NSSC. In order to increase participation, the Sunday School Board brought back that work under the direct supervision of the Board in 1947. Adin Randall
Adin Randall (October 12, 1829 – April 26, 1868) was a philanthropist, businessman, and politician in the Chippewa Valley of Wisconsin, who served as a first Treasurer of Eau Claire County, Wisconsin. He ran a ferry across the Chippewa, a planing mill, a sash and door factory, and invented the sheer boom to efficiently shunt logs into Half Moon Lake. He is regarded as one of the founders of the city. He donated the land for Randall Park, Lakeview Cemetery and the Eau Claire Area School District. Early life Adin Randall was born in Brookfield, New York. In 1852 he married Clamenzia Babcock, and in 1854 moved west and settled in Madison, Wisconsin. There he became a building contractor and made a little money, with which he bought an interest in a sawmill in Eau Claire, Wisconsin in the fall of 1855. Cornell-Randall-Bailey Roadhouse
The Cornell—Randall—Bailey Roadhouse (also known as the Log Gift and Curtain Shoppe) is an historic building located at 2737 Hartford Avenue (United States Route 6) in western Johnston, Rhode Island. The oldest portion of this -story wood-frame structure was built in the late 18th century by Samuel Steere, and was substantially enlarged for use as a tavern in 1821 by Daniel Cornell. Business at the tavern declined when railroads rendered the highway less important, and the building was adapted for use as a bordello and gambling house in the early 20th century. In the 1970s it was converted for use as a gift shop. Randall Farm is a historic farm and national historic district located at Cortland in Cortland County, New York. The district includes six contributing buildings and one contributing structure. It includes a cobblestone farmhouse built between 1825 and 1840 with a distinctive Colonial Revival porch added about 1920.
