Ran Dian
''Ran Dian'' is a Hong Kong-based, international contemporary art magazine, published bilingually in English and Mandarin. It aims both to promote independent cultural debate in China and to foster intellectual exchange between China and the rest of the world. It focuses on independent commentary on international art, artists, exhibitions and galleries. Ran Dian was launched in Shanghai, China in 2010 by Chris Moore, Daniel Szehin Ho and Rebecca Catching. According to Chris Moore, the magazine's international growth was driven by rising interest in East Asia on the part of the Western European art world. Contemporary art is the art of today, produced in the second half of the 20th century or in the 21st century. Contemporary artists work in a globally influenced, culturally diverse, and technologically advancing world. Mandarin Chinese
Mandarin (; ) is a group of Chinese (Sinitic) dialects that are natively spoken across most of northern and southwestern China. The group includes the Beijing dialect, the basis of the phonology of Standard Chinese, the official language of China. Western Europe

Thomas Eller
Thomas Eller (born 8 September 1964) is a German visual artist and writer. Born and raised in the German district of Franconia he left Nuremberg in 1985 to study fine art at the Berlin University of the Arts. After his forced dismission he studied sciences of religion, philosophy and art history at Free University of Berlin. During this time he was also working as a scientific assistant at the Science Center Berlin for Social Research (WZB). From 1990 he exhibited extensively in European museums and galleries. In 1995 he obtained his green card and moved to New York City. Next he participated in exhibitions in museums and galleries in the Americas, Asia and Europe. In 2004 he moved back to Germany and founded an online arts magazine on the internet platform artnet. Robin Peckham
Robin Peckham is an arts writer, gallerist and curator based in Hong Kong. In 2011, Peckham founded the Saamlung Gallery in Hong Kong, which closed two years later. He is the youngest exhibitor to be included in the Art Futures portion of the 2012 Hong Kong International Art Fair and has been featured as one of today's top young Chinese arts professionals. Biography He studied Modern Culture and Media at Brown University and Media Art Histories at Danube University Krems.
