Ramu (1987 Film)
''Ramu'' is a 1987 Indian Telugu-language drama film, produced by D. Ramanaidu under the Suresh Productions banner and directed by Y. Nageswara Rao. It stars Nandamuri Balakrishna and Rajani, with music composed by S. P. Balasubrahmanyam. It is a remake of the Tamil film ''Per Sollum Pillai''. Plot The film begins with an ideal couple Advocate Ramesam and Gayatri Devi chief editor of a newspaper living festively with their four children Girija, Satish, Ramesh, and Jalaja. Once, an orphan boy Ramu comes to their aid by endangering his life. So, they adopt him as their elder son. Years roll by, and Ramu becomes the pulse of the family who adores his fosters, dotes on his siblings, and falls for maid Ganga. Jandhyala
Jandhyala Subrahmanya Sastry (14 January 1951 – 19 June 2001), known mononymously by his surname Jandhyala, was an Indian film director, screenwriter, playwright, and actor known for his works in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. He is popularly known as Hasya Brahma (). In a career spanning more than two decades, he directed over 40 films and wrote the dialogue for more than 300 films. Pally Babu Mohan known as Babu Mohanis an Indian actor and politician from Bharatiya Janata Party. He prominently works in Telugu films as a comedian and is a former Minister for Labour in Andhra Pradesh. He won Nandi Award for Best Male Comedian for his role in Mamagaru. Veturi Sundararama Murthy (29 January 1936 – 22 May 2010), known mononymously by his surname Veturi, was an Indian poet, lyricist and journalist who is popular for writing Telugu songs. His career in the Telugu cinema spanned more than four decades. He was highly admired and cherished for his deep and thoughtful lyrics in Telugu songs. Early life Veturi was born to Chandrasekhar Sastry and Kamalamba in Pedakallepalli, near Challapalli, Krishna into a Telugu Brahmin family.
