Raman Vasilyuk ( be, Раман Васілюк; russian: Роман Василюк, born 23 November 1978) is a former Belarusian footballer. Career He has played for Dinamo Brest, Slavia Mozyr, Spartak Moscow, Dinamo Minsk, Hapoel Tel Aviv, Gomel, Minsk, BATE Borisov, Neman Grodno, and was a member of the Belarus national team. Vasilyuk is currently an all-time top scorer of Belarusian Premier League, having scored over 200 goals since his debut in 1996. The 2012 Belarusian Premier League was the 22nd season of top-tier football in Belarus. It began on 24 March 2012 and ended on 25 November 2012. BATE Borisov were the defending champions, having won their 8th league title last year. Teams Dnepr Mogilev were relegated to the Belarusian First League after finishing the 2011 season in last place, leaving the league for the first time since the competition's establishment in 1992. They were replaced by 2011 First League champions Slavia Mozyr, who make their return to the league after a five-year absence. Vitebsk, as the 11th-placed team, had to compete in the relegation/promotion playoffs against First League runners-up Partizan Minsk. Partizan Minsk won the playoff, 3–2 on aggregate, and returned to the league after a one-year absence while Vitebsk were relegated after six years in the top flight. 2002–03 Belarusian Cup was the twelfth season of the Belarusian annual football cup competition. Contrary to the league season, it is conducted in a fall-spring rhythm. The first games were played on 7 August 2002. Winners of the Cup qualified for the UEFA Cup qualifying round. First round 17 teams joined competition in this round. Six clubs from Second League were drawn against six clubs from First League. 2001 Russian Top Division
Spartak Moscow won their sixth consecutive Russian title, and ninth overall. However, the season was overshadowed by the death of CSKA and Ukraine goalkeeper Serhiy Perkhun, when he clashed heads with Anzhi striker Budun Budunov during the round 22 match against them on 18 August. Both players were injured, and Perkhun died from a brain haemorrhage caused by the collision on 28 August in the age of 23, 10 days after the match against Anzhi. The Russian Premier League (RPL; russian: Российская премьер-лига; РПЛ), also written as Russian Premier Liga, is the top division professional association football league in Russia.
