''Atmano mokshartham jagat hitaya cha'' (translation: for the salvation of our individual self and for the well-being of all on earth) is a Shloka, sloka of the Rig Veda. Vivekananda would often use it, and it became the motto of the Ramakrishna Mission that he founded in 1897 and the related Ramakrishna Math. Sarisha is a village and a gram panchayat within the jurisdiction of the Diamond Harbour police station in the Diamond Harbour II CD block in the Diamond Harbour subdivision of the South 24 Parganas district in the Indian state of West Bengal. Geography Area overview Diamond Harbour subdivision is a rural subdivision with patches of urbanization.
