Rama Messinger
Rama Messenger ( he, רמה מסינגר; September 3, 1968 – August 18, 2015) was an Israeli actress, voice actress and singer. Biography Messinger was born and raised in Ramat Ef'al, Israel. She was named after her maternal uncle, Rami Gil (Mogilnik) who was an Israeli Air Force pilot who fell a year before she was born. She studied at the Thelma Yellin High School of Performing Arts. In the Israel Defense Forces, she served in the Southern Command Variety Ensemble. After her discharge, she studied at the Beit Zvi Acting School. Theater career Messinger played important roles in many plays in many theaters across Israel, but mainly at the national theater Habima, in plays such as ''Solo, Halon Balahot, Hops Ve Hopale'' (1991), ''Three Sisters, Hamefakeah Ba, Kukuriku, Sirano, Kaner Al Hagag'' (2008), and ''Meshartam Shel Shnei Adonim'' – a role for which Messinger won a Rosenblum Prize for Performing Arts and a Tamara Rubins Prize. Ramat Ef'al
Ramat Ef'al ( he, רָמַת אֶפְעַל) is a neighborhood of Ramat Gan in central Israel. Previously part of Ef'al Regional Council, in 2007 it was transferred to the municipality of Ramat Gan together with Kfar Azar. History Ef'al was planned as an urban kibbutz, but due to high real-estate prices it was established on 250 dunams of agricultural land purchased by the Jewish National Fund near Kfar Azar. It was the site of one of the first battles of the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. The first residents arrived in May 1947. On 4 December 1947, the kibbutz was attacked by 120 to 150 attackers from the village of Salame. Defenders, including some Palmach members, fought off the attackers. After the 1948 Arab–Israeli War the kibbutz gained another 1,000 dunams. The Israel Festival ( he, פסטיבל ישראל) is a multidisciplinary arts festival held every spring in Israel. Its center is Jerusalem. The festival operates as a non-profit organization. Some of the shows are offered free. Street performances and special performances for children are also part of the festival.
