Ram Vitthal Satpute is National Vice President of BJYM and a Member of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) elected from Malshiras (Vidhan Sabha constituency). Early life and education Ram Satpute was born on 12 March, 1988 to a Marathi Hindu family of cane harvesters in Doithan Village, Ashti Taluka, district Beed, Maharashtra state. Ram's family belongs to the Scheduled Caste (SC) community. Ram's father Vitthal Satpute worked as a cobbler at bus-stop of his village. As a child, Ram helped his parents in cane harvesting while they were working in a sugar factory. He was introduced to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in his school days. The Nationalist Congress Party ( NCP) is one of the nine national parties in India. The party generally supports Indian nationalism and Gandhian secularism. 2019 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Election
The 2019 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly election was held on 21 October 2019 to elect all 288 members of the state's Legislative Assembly. After a 61.4% turnout in the election, the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Shiv Sena (SHS) won a majority. Following differences over the government formation, the alliance was dissolved, precipitating a political crisis. Since a council of ministers had not been formed after no party could manage to form the government, President's rule was imposed in the state. Kabir Kala Manch was a cultural organisation that was formed in Pune, Maharashtra, India, in the wake of the Gujarat riots in 2002. Through music, poetry and theatre, it aims to spread an anti-caste, pro-democracy message. It comprises students and young professionals who perform protest poetry and plays in slums and streets. Binayak Sen ( hi, बिनायक सेन, bn, বিনায়ক সেন) is a paediatrician, and public health specialist. He is the national Vice-President of the People's Union for Civil Liberties (PUCL). Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) () is a right-wing all India student organisation affiliated to the Hindu nationalist organization Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
