Ralph Young (American Football, Born 1946)
Ralph Young (born May 4, 1946) is an American former college football and college baseball coach. He served as the head football coach at Southwest Minnesota State College—now known as Southwest Minnesota State University—from 1971 to 1972, at Illinois Benedictine College—now known as Benedictine University—from 1979 to 1983, at William Penn College in 1993, at Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri from 1996 to 1998, and at Oklahoma Panhandle State University from 1999 to 2001, compiling a career college football heading coaching record of 44–96. Young was also the head baseball coach at the University of South Dakota for one season, in 1971, tallying a mark of 5–23. Early life Young was born in Clearwater, Florida. Ralph Young (baseball)
Ralph Stuart Young (September 19, 1888 – January 24, 1965), commonly known as "Pep", was an American professional baseball player and coach. A native of Philadelphia, Young played nine seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB), principally as a second baseman, from 1913 to 1922, including nine seasons in Major League Baseball with the New York Yankees in 1913, the Detroit Tigers from 1915 to 1921, and the Philadelphia Athletics in 1922. He threw right-handed and batted as a switch hitter. Over the course of Young's big league career, he appeared in 1,022 games, 993 as a second baseman, and compiled a .247 batting average. Fueled by a disciplined batting eye, Young's on-base percentage was nearly 100 points higher at .339. He collected 495 bases on balls and struck out only 235 times in 4,342 plate appearances. Young was also known as one of the best defensive second baseman in the American League (AL) during his playing career until a back injury in 1921 led to erratic throwing. ...

Ralph Young (singer)
Ralph Young (July 1, 1918 – August 22, 2008) was an American singer and actor. He was best known as the singing partner of Belgian-born Tony Sandler in the duo of Sandler and Young. Born and raised in New York, Young teamed with Sandler in the 1960s. The tuxedo-clad pair headlined major hotel and casino showrooms in both the United States and abroad, and made countless guest appearances on top-rated television variety shows. They released 22 albums, sometimes singing songs in both English and French, Italian, German or Flemish (Sandler's native tongue from Flanders Belgium). Young retired at age 65 to spend more time with his family. Sandler, who was 16 years younger, continued to perform, and the two occasionally reunited for concerts, the last one when Young was in his mid-80s in Palm Springs in an All Stars Concert ‘Let Freedom Ring’ in honour of the victims of 9/11.
