William Ralph Martin Leake
William Ralph Martin-Leake (21 December 1865 – 14 November 1942) was an English rugby union forward who played club rugby for Cambridge University and Harlequins and international rugby for England. In 1890 Leake became one of the original members of the Barbarians. Leake also played cricket as a youth, representing Dulwich College. Despite his father winning four sporting 'Blues' for Cambridge at cricket, Leake instead focused on rugby, winning three 'Blues' at rugby football. Personal history Leake was born in Ceylon in 1865 to William Martin-Leake and Louisa Harriet Tennant. William was a civil engineer who was employed in Ceylon, but later became a coffee-planter. Louisa was the daughter of Col. Sir James Tennant of the Bengal Artillery. Leake was educated in Britain, at Clifton College in Bristol and Dulwich College in London, before matriculating to Selwyn College, Cambridge in 1885. Ralph Martin Huff
Ralph Martin Huff (December 19, 1948 – June 29, 2023) was an American football linebacker. He played for the University of Michigan from 1968 to 1970. As a senior, he was selected as a first-team All-American by the American Football Coaches Association. After graduating from Michigan, Huff played professional football for the San Francisco 49ers (1972), Edmonton Eskimos (1973), and Charlotte Hornets (1974–1975). Early years Huff was born in Houston, Texas in 1948, but he grew up in the Old West End of Toledo, Ohio. He was one of the five sons of Ralph and Martha Huff. Ralph Huff was an All-Indiana football player who attended Indiana University in the 1930s. Each of the five Huff sons played football at St. Francis de Sales High School in Toledo. Ralph Martin Treuel ( ; born June 7, 1955) is an American professional baseball coach and a former Minor League Baseball pitcher. He spent all or parts of three seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) on the coaching staff of the Detroit Tigers and Boston Red Sox. Treuel has worked for the Red Sox organization in various coaching and advisory roles since 1996. Playing career Treuel has spent his entire -year professional baseball career with the Tigers and Red Sox. After attending Lorain County Community College, he signed with Detroit in 1974 and pitched for nine seasons in the Tiger farm system, including service with the Triple-A Evansville Triplets during 1978–1980. He compiled a 53–43 won–loss mark with a 4.11 earned run average (ERA) in 193 minor-league games. Ralf Martin (born 10 July 1967) is a German racing driver, who has most famously competed in the European Touring Car Cup, as well as the ADAC Procar Series also. He is a former ETCC Super 1600 champion, having won in 2008. Career In 2003 and 2007, he was champion in Ford Fiesta Cup Germany. In 2008 Martin became the second champion in ETCC The European Touring Car Championship was an international touring car racing series organised by the FIA.
