Rakkhosh
''Rakkhosh'' is a Hindi-language psychological thriller drama film where the camera is the lead character of the film. It is a first-person POV of a schizophrenic person. The film is an adaptation of a Marathi short story titled "Patient 302", by late Shri Narayan Dharap, who is a well-known writer in Marathi Literature in horror genre. Rakkhosh bagged the "Special Jury Award for Best Director in Hindi Film" at the Rajasthan International Film Festival, that took place in Jaipur between 19 and 23 January 2019. Plot The film explores the horrors and fantasies of a patient trapped in a mental asylum. Birsa is a mental patient with a history of abuse from his father and elder brother. Barun Chanda
Barun Chanda is an Indian Bengali advertising professional, actor and author based in the city of Kolkata. He is mostly remembered for his role in Satyajit Ray's ''Seemabaddha''. Biography Chanda was born in Dhaka in present day Bangladesh, but came to Kolkata at an early age to pursue higher education. Chanda acted in the 1971 Bengali movie ''Seemabaddha'', directed by Satyajit Ray. After that he did not appear in any films for over twenty years. Srivinay Salian (born 13 June 1976 in Mumbai, India) is an Indian television and film writer and an independent filmmaker. Srivinay Salian (aka ''Sreevinay Salian'') started his career with Percept Picture Company, as an animation script writer for their show, 'New Adventures of Hanuman'. Narayan Dharap
Narayan Dharap (27 August 1925 – 18 August 2008) was a Marathi writer from Maharashtra, India. He wrote more than 100 books in Marathi, primarily in the horror genre. Many of Dharap's novels and stories were inspired from contemporary American authors including Stephen King. Shapath was a story inspired by King's "IT" and " Gramma" (later made into the film Tumbbad). Narayan Dharap was also the first Marathi author to bring HP Lovecraft's Cthulhu to Marathi readers. Namit Das (born 10 July 1984) is an Indian film, television, and theatre actor. He has acted in several television commercials. He belongs to a family of musicians and singers; his father is reputed ghazal singer Chandan Dass. His maternal grandfather was K.
