Rakhshan Division
Rakhshan Division is an administrative division of Balochistan Province, Pakistan. In 2015, the Balochistan Assembly unanimously passed a resolution calling upon the provincial government to establish a new division comprising the districts of Nushki, Chagai, Kharan and Washuk, which were parts of Quetta and Kalat. District KHARAN is the Divisional Headquarter of Rakhshan Division. 500 acres of state land has also been allotted for Rakhshan Division at Kharan. And area is situated within the limits of Kharan Town. Rakhshan division has been notified as Division on 17 May 2017. One the same day another notification has also been issued separately of Tehsil Sar Kharan's Upgradation into Sub Division Sar Kharan with headquarter at Miskan-e-Kalat, District Kharan. Divisions Of Pakistan
The Administrative units of Pakistan, four provinces, capital territory and two autonomous territories of Pakistan are subdivided into 38 administrative "divisions", which are further subdivided into Districts of Pakistan, districts, tehsils and finally Union councils of Pakistan, union councils. Balochistan
Balochistan ( ; bal, بلۏچستان; also romanised as Baluchistan and Baluchestan) is a historical region in Western and South Asia, located in the Iranian plateau's far southeast and bordering the Indian Plate and the Arabian Sea coastline. This arid region of desert and mountains is primarily populated by ethnic Baloch people. The Balochistan region is split between three countries: Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan. Kharan, Pakistan
Kharan ( bal, ھاران; ur, ) is a town in Kharan District, Balochistan, Pakistan. It is located at 28°35'0N 65°25'0E with an altitude of 692 metres (2273 feet). It is also division headquarters of Rakhshan Division. It is populated with many Baloch tribes and clans. Balochistan (; bal, بلۏچستان; ) is one of the four provinces of Pakistan. Provincial Assembly Of Balochistan
The Provincial Assembly of Balochistan is a unicameral legislature of elected representatives of the Pakistani province of Balochistan, and is located in Quetta, the provincial capital. It was established under Article 106 of the Constitution of Pakistan having a total of 65 seats, with 51 general seats, 11 seats reserved for women and 3 reserved for non-Muslims. The Assembly has 51 directly elected Members of the Provincial Assembly, representing constituencies from each district, as well as 11 seats reserved for women and 3 for non-Muslims. Chaghi District ( bal, ; urd, ), also known as Chaghi District, is the largest Districts of Pakistan, district of Pakistan by area, located in the north west corner of Balochistan (Pakistan), Balochistan, Pakistan. Washuk District
Washuk District ( Balochi and Urdu: ) is a district in Balochistan province of Pakistan. Washuk, the district headquarters, is located at the center of the district. Administration Washuk District was once part of Kharan District in Balochistan province. It was declared a separate district in 2007, but its governance issues are largely managed by Kharan's district administration. It is further subdivided into 3 ''Tehsils'' or subdistricts, 10 union councils and 216 ''mauzas'' (villages). Nushki District
Nushki District ( ur, ) is one of the districts of Balochistan province, Pakistan. The administration of the Nushki district was taken over from the Khan of Kalat by the British government in 1896, and was leased from him on a perpetual quit rent in 1899. Etymology Nushki drew from two Balochi words "Nosh-Koh" which stands for finishing work. In fact from 852 till 1764, the ancient Baloch tribe Mandai was ruling over Nushki.
