Rajshekhar
Raj Shekhar is an Indian lyricist, poet, and children’s author. He made his Bollywood debut as a lyricist with the 2011 film ''Tanu Weds Manu''. He went on to write lyrics for other notable films, including ''Tanu Weds Manu Returns'', ''Tumbbad'', '' Hichki,'' ''Veere Di Wedding'', Hichki, '' Uri: The Surgical Strike, Saand Ki Aankh, Netflix series Mismatched, Meenakshi Sundareshwar, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, Good Luck Jerry and Doctor G.'' Early life and Education Shekhar was born on September 22, 1980, in Madhepura, Bihar, into a family of farmers. He completed his schooling in Bihar. With an atmosphere of literature at home, it pushed Shekhar towards poetry and essay writing. He moved to Delhi in 1999 for higher education and completed his BA in Hindi literature followed by a MA in the same at Delhi University’s Kirori Mal College. Tanu Weds Manu
''Tanu Weds Manu'' is a 2011 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy-drama by Aanand L. Rai, and produced by Shailesh R Singh. It stars R. Madhavan, Kangana Ranaut, Jimmy Sheirgill, Eijaz Khan, Swara Bhaskar and Deepak Dobriyal. The story of the film has been written by Himanshu Sharma, music is directed by Krsna Solo and the lyrics penned by Rajshekhar. Tanu Weds Manu Returns
''Tanu Weds Manu Returns'' is a 2015 Indian romantic comedy film directed by Aanand L. Rai which is a sequel to the 2011 film ''Tanu Weds Manu''. R. Madhavan, Kangana Ranaut, Jimmy Sheirgill, Deepak Dobriyal, Swara Bhaskar and Eijaz Khan reprise their roles from the original film. Ranaut also portrays the additional role of a Haryanvi athlete in it. The story, screenplay and the dialogues were written by Himanshu Sharma. The soundtrack and film score were composed by Krsna Solo and the lyrics were penned by Rajshekhar.
