Rajamäki (village)
Rajamäki (; literally translated "border hill") is a village in the municipality of Nurmijärvi in southern Finland. Rajamäki is located 45 kilometres (28 mi) north of the capital Helsinki and has a population of around 7,500 inhabitants. Formerly, Rajamäki was the largest of Nurmijärvi's villages, until in the 1970s Klaukkala grew larger than Rajamäki. It is from Rajamäki to the center of Nurmijärvi. Rajamäki is best known for its alcohol distillery which was established in 1888 because of the fresh and pure water found in the area. The distillery was a part of the old Finnish alcohol monopoly Alko and is now part of the Altia corporation. Dilution and bottling of Koskenkorva Viina, distilled in the distillery in Koskenkorva, Ilmajoki, is done in Rajamäki. During World War II, the factory produced around 500,000 Molotov cocktails with the word "Rajamäki" inscribed on the bottle cap. Kari Rajamäki
Kari Juhani Rajamäki (born 15 October 1948, in Anjala) is a Finnish politician from the Social Democratic Party and a former Minister of the Interior. Rajamäki has been MP since 1983 and represents Southern Savonia. Before he became a minister he was profiled in public by demanding more funds for road construction projects. Rajamäki was the Minister of the Interior of Finland in Jäätteenmäki and Vanhanen cabinets from 2003 to 2007. During his term in office he actively contributed to get more funding for police and handling visa grants. Marko Rajamäki
Marko Rajamäki (born 3 October 1968) is a Swedish-born Finnish former footballer and current manager of TPS. He managed Turun Palloseura between 2010 and 2014. Previously he managed the club's under-18 team (since 2002) and was also the assistant manager of the senior team in 2009. Rajamäki is himself a former Finnish international footballer. He played for several years in the Finnish league and is the league's 23rd all-time top-scorer with 98 goals. In his time in the Scottish league, Rajamäki played for Greenock Morton (94 league games) in the 1990s. He also played for Hamilton Academical (eight league games) and Livingston (five league games). Rajamäki made his debut for Morton, on 22 October 1994 along with fellow Finn Janne Lindberg, at Shielfield Park in a 2–1 defeat against Berwick Rangers.
