Rajakumaran (film)
''Rajakumaran'' () is a 1994 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by R. V. Udayakumar. The film stars Prabhu, Meena and Nadhiya. It was released on 14 January 1994, coinciding with Pongal. The film was Prabhu's 100th film and was produced by Sivaji Productions. Plot The kindhearted Rajakumaran is the son of the village chief in Sundharapuri. Selvi and Vaidehi are in love with their cousin Rajakumaran but he chooses Vaidehi and Selvi decides to sacrifice her love. During a Jallikattu spectacle in Sundharapuri, Yuvaraj, who is from the neighbouring village Palipattu, insults the villagers of Sundharapuri for not being able to tame his bull. A brave Rajakumaran then tames his bull and he humiliates him back. Selvi's father Selvaraj refuses to give his property to the village people as promised. Gokula Krishnan
Gokula Krishnan was an Indian film director, who has directed Tamil films. He was primarily active in the 1980s and early 1990s and is most noted for his work on films featuring actor Karthik. He also extensively worked with Malayalam director Fazil and other Malayalam directors, when they made Tamil films, helping write dialogues. Career Gokula Krishnan made his directorial debut in the early 1980s, before choosing to prioritise his work as a script-writer to Malayalam director Fazil, when he made Tamil films. In the mid 1990s, Gokula Krishnan made three consecutive films with actor Karthik. Kavitha Dasaratharaj, known professionally as Kavitha, is an Indian actress and politician who predominantly works in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada film industries, she also acted in few Malayalam movies as well. Nagoor Babu, known by his stage name Mano, is an Indian playback singer, voice-over artist, actor, producer, television anchor and composer. Chelladurai (1941 - 7 February 2015) was an Indian comedian who worked in Tamil-language films. He acted in over 350 films. Career Chelladurai made his film debut with ''Thooral Ninnu Pochchu'' (1982). He is known for his comic sequences with actor Vadivelu. He became famous for his role in '' Shree'' (2002) as the owner of a wine shop named Prabha. In the scene, Marimuthu (Vadivelu) calls the owner and asks when the shop will open. The owner tells him that the store closed. Vadivelu drinks alcohol and repeatedly disturbs the shop owner during the night. Death Chelladurai was admitted to Keezhpakkam Government Hospital in Chennai due to kidney issues on 8 February after having problems for several months. Periya Karuppa Thevar (1936 - 18 September 2012) was a Tamil film character artiste and folk singer who appeared in Tamil-language films. Film career PKT was part of the drama troupe floated by veteran Sankaradoss Swamigal more than fifty years ago. Like many actors of his era, he had made the grade to films as an actor after toiling hard on stage where he used to be quite popular for his acting as well as in singing many folk songs.
