Rajabhat Universities
The Rajabhat Universities (, ) mean Normal school, normal universities in Thailand. They were formerly called ''Rajabhat Institutes'' and originally formed the teacher education, teachers college system. In 2005, King Bhumibol Adulyadej collectively elevated them to be universities. Many provinces have one—there are 38 total—and they are generally easier to gain admission to than the public universities (formerly the government universities). Most Rajabhat Universities offer graduate degrees, some even to the doctoral level. Enrollments have been shrinking. , students numbered 540,000, down from 600,000. These institutions are equivalent to British Polytechnic (United Kingdom), polytechnics that have become universities. They face a similar challenge of matching the prestige of older institutions. Rambhai is a social networking site founded by a small group of students of 2000 batch of Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, Indian Institute of Management of Ahmedabad, India in 2006. This newslink sharing website was created based on two basic principles; of free expression and of user moderation. It has been a growing community since it started. Initially a community based predominantly on India related news it has evolved over the months to include content from all around the world. Members refer to themselves as Rambhaiyyas. Site description Rambhai functions on a simple concept. It brings readers out of the shackles of editors's choices and gives them the freedom to decide what they read and what is published on the site's frontpage. Lampang Rajabhat University
Lampang, also called Nakhon Lampang ( th, นครลำปาง, ) to differentiate from Lampang province, is the third largest city in northern Thailand and capital of Lampang province and the Mueang Lampang district. Traditional names for Lampang include Wiang Lakon and Khelang Nakhon. The city is a trading and transportation center. Lampang lies north of Bangkok and southeast of Chiang Mai. Geography Lampang city is in the valley of the Wang River, bordered by the Khun Tan Range on the west and the Phi Pan Nam Range on the east. Loei (; ) is a town (''thesaban mueang'') in northeast Thailand. Loei covers the whole ''tambon'' of Mueang Loei district and is the capital of Loei province. In 2017, Loei had a population of 21,013. Loei lies 545 km north-northeast of Bangkok, 150 km west of Udon Thani. Geography Loei is in the fertile valley of the Loei River, which runs from south to north through the eastern part of the town. Chaiyaphum ( th, ชัยภูมิ, ) is a town (''thesaban mueang'') in northeastern Thailand, capital of Chaiyaphum Province. it had a population of 58,350, and covers the full ''tambon'' Nai Mueang of Mueang Chaiyaphum District. Buriram (, , , 'city of happiness') is a town (''thesaban mueang'') in Thailand, capital of Buriram Province, about northeast of Bangkok.
