Mizanur Rahman Kazi
Mizanur Rahman Kazi ( bn, মিজানুর রহমান কাজী) is a doctor and politician. He is the current MLA for the Rajabala constituency in the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly. \Kazi is a fellow of the Indian Association of Clinical Medicine and recipient of the Distance Fellowship in Diabetes Management (DFID) from Christian Medical College Vellore. Early life and education Mizanur Rahman Kazi was born into a Muslim family of Kazi’s in Rajabala located in the West Garo Hills district of Meghalaya. His father is Abdul Jalil Kazi who was a close associate of Lt P A Sangma. His wife Sabina Kazi holds an MBA degree from AMU and is a businesswoman . Abdus Saleh
Md. Abdus Saleh ( bn, মুহাম্মদ আব্দুস সালেহ) is an Indian politician and social worker from Meghalaya. He was the former MLA of Rajabala and former three-time MLA of Mahendraganj in the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly. Early life and education Saleh was born into a Bengali Muslim family in the plain region of the West Garo Hills district of Meghalaya to parents Abdul Gofur and Sahara Begum. Late Abdul Gofur was also a social worker and political leader of Mahendraganj. Abdul Gafur, who was a close associate of Purno A. Sangma, passed away due to cardiac arrest while at a meeting with Purno A. Sangma in 1983. Saleh graduated from St. Edmund's College (affiliated with North-Eastern Hill University) in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Azad Zaman
Dr. Azad Zaman ( bn, আজাদ জামান; 1973/1974 – 4 March 2021) was an Indian Bengali politician, doctor and social worker. He was the former member of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly for the Rajabala constituency in West Garo Hills district. Life Azad Zaman was born in 1974, to a Bengali Muslim family in Meghalaya. He was the son of Alhaj Surat Zaman. He was a medical practitioner who later joined the government service. His wife is a teacher by profession, and they lived in Bowabari, PO New Bhaitbari, PS Phulbari in the West Garo Hills. He competed in the 2013 Meghalaya Legislative Assembly election as an independent politician for Rajabala but lost to Ashahel Shira. The Meghalaya Legislative Assembly election of 2008 took place in a single phase on 3 March 2008 to elect the Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from each of the 60 Assembly Constituencies (ACs) in Meghalaya, India. The 2003 Meghalaya Legislative Assembly election was held on 26 February 2003. The north-east Indian state's seventh Legislative Assembly election saw major changes with 28 sitting members and two former Chief Ministers losing their seats.
