Raja Yong Sofia binti Almarhum Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah Al-Maghfur-lah (born 24 June 1961) is the fifth child of the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Azlan Shah. She holds a master's degree in Administration from International University in London. She worked for Bank Bumiputra. Biography Wedding She married at Kuala Kangsar, on 5 December 1987, Y.M. Tunku Dato' Sri Kamil bin Tunku Rijaludin (of Kedah, born in 1952). He is son of Tunku Rijaludin bin Tunku Muhammad (of Kedah), a first cousin of the late Sultan Abdul Halim of Kedah, and his first wife, Raja Nur Azian binti Raja Harun Al-Rashid (of Perak), daughter of Raja Haji Harun al-Rashid of Perak, Raja Kechil Sulong, himself son of Sultan Sultan Idris Shah I of Perak, who is also Raja Yong Sofia's ancestor. Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Yussuff Izzuddin Shah Ghafarullahu-lah ( Jawi: ; 19 April 1928 – 28 May 2014) was the 34th Sultan of Perak and served as the ninth Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia from 26 April 1989 to 25 April 1994. The child of a royal father and commoner mother, he grew up in Perak, Malaysia. During school he played field hockey, subsequently playing for the Perak team. He trained to be a lawyer in the United Kingdom. Upon returning to Malaysia, he soon became a judge and quickly rose through the legal ranks. In 1965, he became the youngest person appointed to the High Court of Malaya, and in 1982 he became the youngest ever Lord President of the Federal Court, the country's highest judicial rank. He succeeded as the Sultan of Perak after Sultan Idris Shah II, his first cousin once removed, died in 1984. Sultan Yussuff Izzuddin Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Abdul Jalil Karamatullah Nasiruddin Mukhataram Shah Radziallah Hu'an-hu, KCMG (15 January 1890 - 4 January 1963) was the 32nd Sultan of Perak, a state in the then Federation of Malaya. Early life and education Raja Yussuff was born on 15 January 1890 at Bukit Chandan, Kuala Kangsar, Perak. He was the eldest son of Sultan Abdul Jalil Karamatullah Nasiruddin Mukhataram Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Idris Mushidul Azzam Shah Rahmatullah.
