Raja Azureen binti Almarhum Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah Al-Maghfur-lah is the eldest daughter of Sultan Azlan Shah of Perak. She was born in Penang, Malaya (now Malaysia) on 9 December 1957. Biography Raja Azureen had her primary education at Marion Convent in Ipoh and her secondary education at the Bukit Nanas Convent School in Kuala Lumpur. She continued her tertiary education and obtained BSc in Mathematics and Economics at the University of Syracuse, New York, in the United States. She continued her studies at the London Graduate School of Business Studies in the UK where she did her Masters in Business Administration. Raja Azureen is married to Mohd. Salleh bin Ismail who is a banker cum business consultant. In March 2007, Raja Azureen was appointed as the President of Masterskill College of Nursing and Health, Cheras, Malaysia. Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Yussuff Izzuddin Shah Ghafarullahu-lah ( Jawi: ; 19 April 1928 – 28 May 2014) was the 34th Sultan of Perak and served as the ninth Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia from 26 April 1989 to 25 April 1994. The child of a royal father and commoner mother, he grew up in Perak, Malaysia. During school he played field hockey, subsequently playing for the Perak team. He trained to be a lawyer in the United Kingdom. Upon returning to Malaysia, he soon became a judge and quickly rose through the legal ranks. In 1965, he became the youngest person appointed to the High Court of Malaya, and in 1982 he became the youngest ever Lord President of the Federal Court, the country's highest judicial rank. Sultan Idris Murshidul Azzam Shah Ibni Almarhum Raja Bendahara Alang Iskandar Marhum Teja (19 June 1849 − 14 January 1916) was the 28th Sultan of Perak. Perak at that time was part of the British-administered Federated Malay States. The Sultan's rule was marked by Perak joining the Federated Malay States, a Federation of four protected states in the Malay Peninsula, including Selangor, Negeri Sembilan and Pahang, established by the British government in 1895, which lasted until 1946.
