Raimondas Žutautas
Raimondas Žutautas (born 4 September 1972) is a former Lithuanian footballer and current head coach. Zutautas played as a defensive midfielder. In 1999 Zutautas signed in Israeli club Maccabi Haifa F.C. and played there in the years 1999–2003. He won two championships with Maccabi Haifa and qualified to the UEFA Champions League group stage. Zutautas is considered one of the finest defensive midfielders played in the Israeli Premier League. He is the only Lithuanian player to score two goals in the UEFA Champions League. In 2002, while playing for Maccabi Haifa, he scored against Manchester United. His second goal was scored a year later against Rangers while playing for Panathinaikos. Managerial career On 9 February 2010, Žutautas was appointed as the new manager of Lithuania. He is also Lithuania's youngest ever national coach at the age of 37. Klaipėda
Klaipėda (; ; german: Memel; pl, Kłajpeda; russian: Клайпеда; sgs, Klaipieda) is a city in Lithuania on the Baltic Sea coast. The capital of the eponymous county, it is the third largest city and the only major seaport in Lithuania. 2001–02 Israeli Premier League
The 2001–02 Israeli Premier League season saw Maccabi Haifa win their second consecutive title. It took place from the first match on 25 August 2001 to the final match on 18 May 2002. Two teams from Liga Leumit were promoted at the end of the previous season: Hapoel Be'er Sheva and Maccabi Kiryat Gat. The two teams relegated were Bnei Yehuda and Tzafririm Holon. The 2000–01 Israeli Premier League season had Maccabi Haifa win the title, while Bnei Yehuda and Tzafririm Holon were relegated. The regular season took place from the first match on 12 August 2000 to the final match on 22 April 2001. The table was then divided into two groups, the upper and lower, which had six teams each. Then each team played the other five in their group once. The second stage was held between 27 April 2001 and 26 May 2001.
