Rai Zero
Rai Zero (#0) was a comic book published by Valiant Comics in November 1992. Published after the events of Rai #8, the special served as a bridge for the reformatting of "Rai" as "Rai and the Future Force" with issue #9 by way of introducing Takao Konishi as the 43rd Rai. Rai Zero was written by Valiant's top talent: Jim Shooter, David Lapham and Bob Layton. The special also featured the first appearance of Valiant hero Bloodshot as well as setting up a basic outline for the history of the Original Valiant Universe from 1992 until the post-"Unity" crossover in the 41st century. It also was used by Valiant as the springboard for the "Deathmate" crossover between Valiant and Image Comics, which caused the special to become sought after by collectors, staying on Wizard's Top 10 hot list for several months. Valiant Comics
Valiant Comics is an American comic book publisher. The company was founded in 1989 by former Marvel Comics editor-in-chief Jim Shooter along with lawyer and businessman Steven Massarsky. In 1994, the company was sold to Acclaim Entertainment. The company was restarted as part of Valiant Entertainment by entrepreneurs Dinesh Shamdasani and Jason Kothari in 2005 after Acclaim declared bankruptcy in 2004. David Lapham
David Lapham is an American comic book writer, artist, and cartoonist, best known for his work on the independent comic book '' Stray Bullets''. Career David Lapham started his career in 1990 as a penciller at Valiant Comics. He went on to work under editor Jim Shooter at Defiant Comics, where they co-created '' Warriors of Plasm'' in 1993. He set up his own publishing company, El Capitan Books, in 1995, to self-publish '' Stray Bullets'' which he wrote, drew and lettered himself. Harbinger Resistance
The Harbinger Resistance is a fictional organization appearing in the Valiant Comics universe. History The Harbinger Resistance was started by the renegade Harbinger Faith Herbert, alias Zephyr, to combat the world dominating aspirations of Harbinger Foundation founder, Toyo Harada. Later on (according to Rai #0) this same resistance would be led by renegade Omega-class Harbinger Pete Stanchek, also called "Sting", a friend of Zephyr, who would mysteriously disappear around the year 2056. Sting (Peter Stanchek) is a fictional superhero. Created by legendary writer and former Marvel Comics editor-in-chief Jim Shooter.
