Rahul Raj Mayer
Rahul Raj Mayer, (born 20 July 1996 in Kuala Lumpur) is a Malaysian racing driver. Career Mayer was born in Selangor, Malaysia. In 2007 at the age of eleven he began his karting career. Starting his official racing career in 2008 he came in 3rd in the Yamaha SL Cup (Junior) series. In 2009 he came in 2nd in the Asian Karting Open Championship (Formula 125 Junior Open). In 2010 he came in 2nd for the Yamaha SL Cup (Senior) and 3rd for the Rotax Max Challenge Malaysia (Junior) series. In 2011 he raced in Japan in the Iame X30 Championship where he came in 8th. In 2012 he competed in the All Stars Karting Invitational (KF2) and Rotax Invitational Race (Rotax Senior) and came in 3rd and 2nd respectively. In 2012 he competed in single seater racing, starting his career in the Formula Gulf 1000 (FG1000) Championship where after two wins, ten podiums, a Pole Position and three fastest laps he ended the year 2nd place in the Championship. Hillspeed
Hillspeed is a motor racing team based in the United Kingdom. They currently participate in the GB3 Championship and the GB4 Championship. The team was founded in 1970 in order to run the British Saloon Car Championship entry of Morgan Ollerenshaw. In subsequent years, the team focused primarily on single-seater racing. Later, the company would also be involved in high performance road cars. In recent years, Hillspeed have been one of the most successful teams in breaking new talent in junior racing series, winning the 2010 Formula Renault BARC season with Alice Powell as well as back-to-back Ginetta Junior championships with Tom Ingram in 2010 and Seb Morris in 2011. Campos Racing
Campos Racing is a Spanish motor racing team, founded by former Formula One driver Adrián Campos. The team has been successful in Formula Three and the GP2 Series. History After retiring from racing, Campos formed his own team at the end of 1997, under the name Campos Motorsport. In 1998 the team began by competing in the new Open Fortuna by Nissan, with Marc Gené and Antonio García as drivers. Gené won the championship and García finished fifth, with Campos taking the teams title. Gené stepped up to Formula One in , and his place in the team was taken by karting driver Fernando Alonso. The Sepang 1000 km Endurance Race is a endurance racing event held annually since 2009 at the Sepang International Circuit in December. The race was created out of the success of the 12-hour Malaysia Merdeka Endurance Race, but unlike the MMER is a touring car race and is limited to cars with an engine capacity of under . Touring Car Racing
Touring car racing is a motorsport road racing competition with heavily modified road-going cars. It has both similarities to and significant differences from stock car racing, which is popular in the United States. While the cars do not move as fast as those in Formula racing, formula or sports car racing, sports car races, their similarity both to one another and to fans' own vehicles makes for entertaining, well-supported racing. The lesser use of aerodynamics means following cars have a much easier time passing than in open-wheel racing, and the more substantial bodies of the cars makes the subtle bumping and nudging for overtaking much more acceptable as part of racing.
