It was also a team of Bangladesh Championship League until it got promotion in 2014 season. Haji Md. Salim MP is the current president and Imteaz Hamid Sabuj is the general secretary. Bangladesh Federation Cup
Federation Cup, also known as Bangladesh Federation Cup, is Bangladesh's premier cup competition in men's association football. The competition started in 1980 and is run by the Bangladesh Football Federation which is responsible for all types of competitive matches in the country. The teams from the country's premier league and other clubs compete in the tournament while occasionally Indian sides were invited in the past. Most of the matches are played in the country's main football venue Bangabandhu National Stadium. The winner of the tournament earn the slot of playing qualifying round of AFC Cup. Format A total of 13 teams participate in the final round. Teams are split into 4 groups. Two teams from each group qualify for the knockout rounds. Wali Faisal ( bn, ওয়ালী ফয়সাল; born 1 March 1985) is a retired Bangladeshi international footballer who played as a defender. He played for the Bangladesh national football team from 2006 to 2018. Haji Mohammad Salim
Haji Mohammad Salim (born 10 May 1958) is a Bangladesh Awami League politician and the incumbent Jatiya Sangsad member representing the Dhaka-7 constituency since 2014. Salim was convicted on a corruption case for amassing wealth illegally, filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission in 2007. He began serving his 10-year prison sentence in May 2022. Early life Salim was born on 10 May 1958. He studied up to grade nine. Career Salim was a Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) ward councilor.
