Rahasyam (1967 Film)
''Rahasyam'' () is a 1967 Indian Telugu-language swashbuckler film directed by Vedantam Raghavayya. It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao, B. Saroja Devi, Kanta Rao, Krishna Kumari and S. V. Ranga Rao, with music composed by Ghantasala. The film was produced by Allareddy Shankar Reddy under the Lalitha Siva Jyothi Films banner. Plot The film begins with Saint Rakthabhisha & Sriganda king of Kanchipuram are disciples of Sage Narada both of them develop rivalry feeling that one is superior to the other. Rakthabhisha is a great devotee of Goddess Lalitha he contracts an underground temple and performs a huge penance. Vempati Sadasivabrahmam shortly Sadasivabrahmam () (b: 1905 – d: 1968) was a writer of film stories, dialogues and lyrics in the early period of Telugu cinema.Sadasivabrahmam Vempati, Luminaries of 20th Century, Part II, Potti Sriramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad, 2005, pp: 912–13. He was born in Tuni, East Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh. He studied Pancha Kavyas and achieved proficiency in Sanskrit and Telugu languages. Buddharaju Venkata Appala Haranath Raju (2 September 1936 – 1 November 1989), known mononymously as Haranath, was an Indian actor who worked in Telugu films. Early life career and death Haranath was born on 2 September 1936 in Raparthi near Pithapuram and Gollaprolu in East Godavari district. He had two younger brothers and a sister. His early schooling was in Madras till pre-university, and he did his B. A. degree in P R College, Kakinada. Arudra (born Bhagavatula Sadasiva Sankara Sastry; 31 August 1925 – 4 June 1998) was an Indian author, poet, lyricist, translator, publisher, dramatist, playwright, and an expert on Telugu literature.
