Ragnarok (comics)
Ragnarök is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. A cyborg clone of the hero Thor, Ragnarök has a similar appearance and abilities but uses them in opposition to the established heroes. Publication history Ragnarök first appeared in ''Civil War'' #3 (July 2006), and was created by Mark Millar and Steve Mcniven. Ragnarök began appearing as a regular character in the ''Dark Avengers'' series, beginning with ''Dark Avengers'' #175. Fictional character biography When the real Thor was missing in action and presumed dead, Tony Stark took one of his hairs, which he had retained from the first meeting of the Avengers. He helped Reed Richards and Hank Pym clone the Asgardian DNA within while fusing the cloned DNA with Stark Industries technology. This resulted in the creation of a new cyborg clone of Thor. Michael Turner (comics)
Michael Layne Turner (April 21, 1971 – June 27, 2008) was an American comics artist known for his work on ''Witchblade'', '' Fathom'', ''Superman/Batman'', '' Soulfire'', and various covers for DC Comics and Marvel Comics. He was also the president of the entertainment company Aspen MLT. Early life Michael Turner was born in Crossville, Tennessee on April 21, 1971. He was a student at the University of Tennessee, and graduated from the International Performing Arts Academy after which he moved to San Diego, California, where he developed an interest in comics. Career Turner was discovered by Marc Silvestri at a convention and hired by Silvestri's Top Cow Productions as an artist. He initially did background illustrations for Top Cow titles before co-creating ''Witchblade''. Stark Industries, later also known as Stark International, Stark Innovations, Stark Enterprises and Stark Resilient, is a fictional company appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The company is depicted as being owned and run by businessman and namesake Tony Stark, who is also known as Iron Man. It first appeared in ''Tales of Suspense'' No. 40 (April 1963) and was founded by Tony's father, Howard Stark. Humberto Ramos (born 27 November 1970) is a Mexican comic book penciller, best known for his work on American comic books such as ''Impulse'', '' Runaways'', ''The Spectacular Spider-Man'', ''The Amazing Spider-Man'' and his creator-owned series ''Crimson''. Dark Reign is a 2008 to 2009 comic book branding used by Marvel Comics. It deals with the aftermath of the "Secret Invasion" storyline, which leads to a shift of power in the Marvel Universe toward Norman Osborn. The title refers to Osborn's rise to national power and the ramifications thereof. Secret Invasion
"Secret Invasion" is a comic book crossover storyline that ran through a self-titled eight-issue limited series and several tie-in books published by Marvel Comics from April through December 2008. The story involves a subversive, long-term invasion of Earth by the Skrulls, a group of alien shapeshifters who have secretly replaced many superheroes in the Marvel Universe with impostors over a period of years, prior to the overt invasion.
