Ragnar Bøe Elgsaas
Ragnar Bøe Elgsaas (born 8 June 1971) is a former Norwegian politician for the Norwegian Labour Party, Labour Party. He finished upper secondary school at Ulsrud Upper Secondary School, Ulsrud in 1990. The next year he was hired as a Labour Party office clerk and was elected as a deputy member of Oslo city council for 1991–1995. He worked as a campaigner for the 1993 Norwegian parliamentary election and in Sosialdemokrater mot EU i Oslo for the 1994 Norwegian referendum. He was leader of the Oslo chapter of the Workers' Youth League (Norway), Workers' Youth League (AUF) from 1993 until 1995, when he withdrew after the publishing of the Workers' Youth League affair in ''Verdens Gang''. In 1998, he was convicted of fraud. He remained a central board member of the Workers' Youth League nationwide from 1994 to 1998. Norwegian Labour Party
The Labour Party ( nb, Arbeiderpartiet; nn, Arbeidarpartiet; A/Ap; se, Bargiidbellodat), formerly The Norwegian Labour Party ( no, Det norske Arbeiderparti, DNA), is a social-democratic political party in Norway. It is positioned on the centre-left of the political spectrum, and is led by Jonas Gahr Støre. LO Stat
LO Stat (LO State) is one of two bargaining structures within the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions (LO). LO Stat is the counterpart in negotiations over state employees' wages and conditions with the government and the employer's organisation, Spekter. It organizes employees of (1) the Norwegian state (Government employees) or (2) of companies that are member bodies of the employers' association Spekter. It was created in 1939 under the name ''Statstjenestemannskartellet'' ('the Cartel of Public Servants'). In 1996 it was renamed to LO Stat. It was one of four cartels until 2004, when LO Industri and LO Service were abolished, leaving only LO Stat and, for municipal employees, LO Kommune. The current chair is Tone Rønoldtangen. Jens Stoltenberg
Jens Stoltenberg (born 16 March 1959) is a Norwegian politician who has been serving as the 13th secretary general of NATO since 2014. A member of the Norwegian Labour Party, he previously served as the 34th prime minister of Norway from 2000 to 2001, and again from 2005 until 2013. Born in Oslo as the son of the prominent diplomat and politician Thorvald Stoltenberg and Karin Stoltenberg (née Heiberg), Stoltenberg attended Oslo Waldorf School and Oslo Cathedral School before graduating with a degree in economics from the University of Oslo in 1987. During his studies, he worked as a journalist, and led Labour's youth wing from 1985 to 1989.
