''Raggare!'' (in the UK released as ''Blackjackets'') is a Swedish drama film which was released to cinemas in Sweden on 13 November 1959, directed by Olle Hellbom. Plot A gang of car driving youngsters (raggare) hang out in a café outside Stockholm. The coolest among the youngsters, Roffe, kidnaps his girlfriend when discovering that she hangs out with guys from another gang. Raggare
Raggare is a subculture found mostly in Sweden and parts of Norway and Finland, and to a lesser extent in Denmark, Germany, and Austria. Raggare are related to the American greaser and rockabilly subcultures and are known for their love of hot rod cars and 1950s American pop culture. Loosely translated into English, the term is roughly equivalent to the American "greaser", English "rocker", and Australian " Bodgie" and "Widgie" culture; all share a common passion for mid-20th-century American cars, rockabilly-based music and related fashion (blue-collar in origin, consisting of the likes of white T-shirts, loose fitting denim trousers with rolled cuffs, and canvas top sneakers such as Keds or Converse Chucks, or low-topped boots of an industrial nature). Olle Hellbom
Nils Olof "Olle" Hellbom (8 October 1925 – 5 June 1982) was a Swedish film director, producer, and screenwriter. He is most famous for directing films based on novels by Astrid Lindgren. His 1960 film ''Alla vi barn i Bullerbyn'' was entered into the 2nd Moscow International Film Festival. In 1978 at the 14th Guldbagge Awards he won the award for Best Director for his film '' The Brothers Lionheart''. He died of stomach cancer. Hans Wahlgren
Hans Carl Gustav Wahlgren (born 26 June 1937) is a Swedish actor. Career Wahlgren grew up in Smedslätten, and debuted in a film in 1945 in Ragnar Falcks shortfilm ''Indianer och blekansikten''. His breakthrough came in the film ''Raggare'' in 1959. During eleven seasons he performed in the revue Hagges Revue in Gothenburg. In the revue he made imitations of famous people like Jan Malmsjö, Jarl Kulle, Carl XVI Gustaf and Claes af Geijerstam. Wahlgren has also performed in several farces and comedies in Stockholm prive theaters, and plays like ''Oh! Calcutta!'' and ''Pippi Longstocking'' at Folkan. '' Charleys Tant'' and '' Spanska flugan'' at Vasateatern. During the summer of 2001 he along with Eva Rydberg performed in the comedy ''Kärlek och lavemang'' at Fredriksdalsteatern in Helsingborg. Olof Harry "Olle" Nordemar (25 July 1914 – 18 February 1999) was a Swedish film director, film editor, film producer, cinematographer and screenwriter. Nordemar is best known as the producer behind Olle Hellbom's films based on novels by Astrid Lindgren. Nordemar edited and produced the Norwegian-Swedish documentary ''Kon-Tiki'' (1950) which received the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature for 1951 at the 24th Academy Awards. Career Nordemar was born in Stockholm, Sweden and was brother to film editor and director Eric Nordemar. Nordemar was active in the film industry from 1932. Kerstin ''Anita'' Wall (born 11 July 1940), is a Swedish stage and film actress. She began acting at eleven years of age at Vår teater, a children's theatre, playing Pippi Longstocking and other roles.
