Ragan Smith
Ragan Elizabeth Smith (born August 8, 2000) is an American collegiate gymnast. She is a five-time member of the United States women's national gymnastics team, US National Team (2014–2019). She is the 2017 U.S. National Gymnastics Championships, 2017 United States national all-around champion and was an alternate for the Gymnastics at the 2016 Summer Olympics, 2016 Olympic Final Five (gymnastics), team. Personal life Smith was born in Snellville, Georgia, to Michael and Kerry Smith. She has two younger brothers. Her mother was a gymnastics coach. Smith began gymnastics in 2004. Smith lived in Lewisville, Texas for six years, and she currently lives in Norman, Oklahoma. Junior career 2013 Smith qualified for Junior International Elite status in 2013 and advanced to the 2013 Secret U.S. Classic in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Artistic Gymnastics World Cup
The Artistic Gymnastics World Cup is a competition series for artistic gymnastics sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG). It is one of the few tournaments in artistic gymnastics officially organized by FIG, as well as the World Championships and the gymnastics competitions at the Olympic Games and the Youth Olympics. Beginning in the 2017-2020 quadrennium, the All-Around and Individual Apparatus World Cup series are used to qualify a maximum of seven spots to the Olympic Games. Hoffman Estates is a village in Illinois, United States. The village is located primarily in Cook County, with a small section in Kane County. It is a suburb of Chicago. Per the 2020 census, the population was 52,530. The village now serves as the headquarters for Sears and the American headquarters for Mori Seiki. The Final Five was the United States women's national gymnastics team, United States women's team in artistic gymnastics that won Gymnastics at the 2016 Summer Olympics – Women's artistic team all-around, the team event at the Gymnastics at the 2016 Summer Olympics, 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. It was the United States' third gold medal in the event and second outside the United States.
