Rafita Asteroids
Rafael Ramos Lozano (born 18 September 1982), known as Rafita, is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for CF UD Calpe. On the right side of the pitch, he can appear as both a defender or a midfielder. Club career Born in Palma de Mallorca, Balearic Islands, Rafita made his senior debut with local RCD Mallorca's reserves in the Segunda División B. On 28 August 2005 he played his first and only competitive match with the main squad, coming on as a 73rd-minute substitute in a 0–1 La Liga home loss against Deportivo de La Coruña. Released by the club at the end of the season, Rafita resumed his career in the Segunda División, with Ciudad de Murcia, CD Castellón, Recreativo de Huelva and UD Almería, appearing in 206 league games in the process. Unión Deportiva Almería, S.A.D. () is a Spanish professional football club based in Almería, in the autonomous community of Andalusia. Substitute (association Football)
In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. Prior to this most games were played with no changes permitted at all, with occasional exceptions in cases of extreme injury or players not arriving to matches on time. The number of substitutes has risen over time as well as the number of reserve players allowed to be nominated. The 2013–14 La Liga season (known as the ''Liga BBVA'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 83rd since its establishment. Match days were drawn on 9 July 2013. The season began on 17 August 2013 and concluded on 18 May 2014; all top-flight European leagues ended earlier than the previous season due to the upcoming 2014 FIFA World Cup. The 2012–13 Segunda División season (known as the Liga Adelante for sponsorship reasons) was the 82nd since its establishment. The season started on 17 August 2012 and the league phase of 42 rounds ended on 9 June 2013. The entire season ended on 22 June 2013 with the promotion play-off finals. The 2005–06 La Liga season, the 75th since its establishment, started on 27 August 2005 and finished on 20 May 2006 due to all top-flight European leagues ending earlier than the previous season because of 2006 FIFA World Cup.
