Rafael Burgos
Rafael Edgardo Burgos (born June 3, 1988 in La Paz, El Salvador) is a Salvadoran professional footballer who plays as a forward for Independiente. Club career Burgos started his career at Alianza F.C., but moved to Segunda División club Santa Tecla F.C. to get some more playing time. In 2010, he returned to the highest level to play with UES. In 2011, he rejoined his old club Alianza F.C.. In 2012, he transferred to Deportivo Petapa scoring his first goal in a victory against Municipal on February 12, 2012. He scored another goal on March 3, 2012 against C.D. Suchitepéquez, and his last goal for the end of his 2011–12 season on May 4, 2012 against Juventud Retalteca. Even though he started late in Petapa's season he maed to score five goals in nine games. La Paz () is a department of El Salvador in the south central area of the country. The capital is Zacatecoluca. La Paz has an area of 1,228 km2 and a population of more than 328,000. The department was created in 1852. There are various caves containing rock writing. Striker (association Football)
Forwards (also known as attackers) are outfield positions in an association football team who play the furthest up the pitch and are therefore most responsible for scoring goals as well as assisting them. The Belize national football team represents Belize in international football and is controlled by the Football Federation of Belize, a member of the Central American Football Union of CONCACAF. The 2011 Copa Centroamericana ( en, 2011 Central American Cup) was the eleventh edition of Copa Centroamericana (formerly known as the UNCAF Nations Cup), an international football championship for national teams affiliated with the Central American Football Union (UNCAF) of the CONCACAF region. It took place in Panama from January 14 to January 23, 2011. It was the second time for Panama to host the tournament. José Luis Rugamas
José Luis Rugamas Portillo (born 5 June 1953 in San Salvador) is a Salvadoran football manager and former professional player. He was interim manager of the El Salvador national team. As a player, he represented his country at the 1982 FIFA World Cup in Spain. Club career Rugamas played the majority of his career for Atlético Marte with whom he won two league titles. He had earlier clinched a championship with Platense in 1975. At the end of his career he had spells in Guatemalan and Belizean football. International career Rugamas represented his country in 16 FIFA World Cup qualification matches and played in two games at the 1982 FIFA World Cup. 1991 UNCAF Nations Cup
The 1991 UNCAF Nations Cup was the inaugural UNCAF Nations Cup, the Central American championship for men's national association football teams. It was organized by the ''Unión Centroamericana de Fútbol'' or UNCAF, and it took place in Costa Rica from 26 May to 2 June 1991. All matches were played in the Costa Rican capital, San José at the Estadio Nacional. The top two teams, apart from Costa Rica, go on to participate in the 1991 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Costa Rica were given a bye due to their performance at the 1990 FIFA World Cup. Three teams qualified to enter the tournament alongside hosts Costa Rica, chosen to hold the tournament by UNCAF that same year. Raúl Díaz Arce (born February 1, 1970 in San Miguel, El Salvador) is a Salvadoran former professional footballer who played as a forward. He is El Salvador's most prolific goal scorer, with 39 goals in just 68 appearances. Playing career 1985 to 1986 Arce played for Deportivo Jalapa in Guatemala. From 1988 to 1991, Arce played for Dragon in the Salvadoran second division, where he was the league's leading scorer in the 1991/92 season with 21 goals. Playing for Dragon, in two seasons in first division, Ignacio Raul scored 34 goals (89/90 = 13 90/91 = 21), in the second season he was the scoring champion of the regular season when he played four laps. The Panama national football team ( es, Selección de fútbol de Panamá) represents Panama in men's international football and is governed by the Panamanian Football Federation. The team represents all three FIFA, CONCACAF and the regional UNCAF.
