Raed Fares
Raed Fares ( ar, رائد فارس; born December 6, 1982 in Gaza, Palestine) is a Palestinian professional football (soccer) player currently playing for Jerusalem side Hilal Al-Quds of the West Bank Premier League. He plays primarily as a right back, although has filled the void on the left flank with the national team in the absence of Roberto Bishara. Fares received his first national team cap against Iran in an October 2011 friendly. He has since gone on to represent Palestine at the 2011 Pan Arab Games, 2012 AFC Challenge Cup and 2015 AFC Asian Cup The 2015 AFC Asian Cup was the 16th edition of the men's AFC Asian Cup, a quadrennial international football tournament organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). 2012 AFC Challenge Cup
The 2012 AFC Challenge Cup was the fourth edition of the tournament, an international football competition for Asian Football Confederation (AFC) member nations that are mainly categorized as "emerging countries" in the defunct Vision Asia programme. It took place in Nepal from 8–19 March 2012. Unlike in previous editions of the tournament, there were no automatic qualifiers. Therefore, 2010 champions North Korea, runners-up Turkmenistan, and third-placed Tajikistan had to navigate the qualification phase in order to return to the finals. The 2015 AFC Asian Cup was the 16th edition of the men's AFC Asian Cup, a quadrennial international football tournament organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
