Radu Voina
Radu Voina (born 29 July 1950 in Șaeș, Mureș County) is a Romanian former handball player and current head coach. Playing career He competed in the 1972 Summer Olympics, in the 1976 Summer Olympics, and the 1980 Summer Olympics. In 1972, he won the bronze medal with the Romanian team. He played four matches. Four years later, he won the silver medal as part of the Romanian team. He played all five matches and scored five goals. In 1980, he was a member of the Romania men's national handball team which won the bronze medal. He played four matches and scored four goals. In the 1974 World Men's Handball Championship edition, Radu Voina became world champion with Romania. In 1977, he won the EHF Champions League with Steaua Bucharest. Apold
Apold (german: Trapold) is a commune in Mureș County, Transylvania, Romania. The 2009–10 EHF Women's Champions League was the 17th edition of the EHF Women's Champions League, a handball competition for top women's clubs of Europe managed by the European Handball Federation. The Sélestat Alsace Handball is a French handball club based in Sélestat in Alsace and founded in 1967 under the name Sport Club de Sélestat before taking its current name on September 1, 2008. CSA Steaua București is a Romanian professional handball club based in Bucharest, Romania. It competes in the Romanian Handball League. They are part of the CSA Steaua sports organization. Team Handball
Handball (also known as team handball, European handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. 2010 European Women's Handball Championship
The 2010 European Women's Handball Championship was held in Denmark and Norway from 7–19 December. It was the first European Championship hosted by two countries. Norway won their overall 5th gold medal, when they defeated first time finalist Sweden in the final. Romania claimed the bronze medal. Venues Three Danish and two Norwegian cities have been selected to host the 2010 Championship. The venues in Aalborg, Aarhus and Larvik were only used during the preliminary round.
