Vodolija (Cyrillic::Водолија; English translation:Aquarius) is a Macedonian rock band formed in 1989 that officially started in 1991 when they had their first official appearance on Pop-Rock Fest 1991 and recorded the first official single in the studio M2 of the Macedonian Radio Television. They released three studio albums and participated three times in the Macedonian Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with the song ( Mojot TV), Macedonian Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with the song ( Solza) and Macedonian Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song ( Ne vrakaj se). The first two albums of Vodolija were recorded in the studio of Vladimir Petrovski-Karter from Badmingtons. The third album was recorded in Risto Apostolov studio. Macedonia (officially under the provisional appellation "former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia", abbreviated "FYR Macedonia") participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song " Rusinka" written by Grigor Koprov, Jovan Jovanov, Vladimir Dojčinovski and Marko Marinković. The song was performed by Vlatko Ilievski. The Macedonian broadcaster Macedonian Radio Television (MRT) organised ''Skopje Fest 2011'' in order to select the Macedonian entry for the 2011 contest in Düsseldorf, Germany. Twenty entries competed in the competition on 27 February 2011 where "Rusinka" performed by Vlatko Ilievski was selected following the combination of votes from a fifteen-member jury panel and a public televote. Badmingtons (in Macedonian: Бадмингтонс) were a prominent Macedonian punk rock band. Biography Badmingtons were formed in 1983 in Skopje, then SR Macedonia (now the Republic of Macedonia) by Vladimir Petrovski - Karter (guitar and vocals), Dean Škartov - Deko ( keyboards) and Boris Georgiev - But ( drums). Previously, Karter had played in one of the line-ups of Fol Jazik (the first punk band in Skopje, formed 1978) and later in Saraceni, another legendary punk group, which also featured the now-internationally acclaimed musician Goran Trajkoski. Boris Georgiev was a former drummer in Jadro, which included members from several countries, as well as in the bands Pop and Dizajn.
