Radomir Savić
Radomir Savić (; born 15 February 1956) is a retired Yugoslav and Bosnian-Herzegovinian, Association football, footballer. Career Born in Ilijaš, near Sarajevo, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, back then within Yugoslavia, Savić started playing at the small local club FK Sloga Ilijaš, before getting picked up by the local powerhouse FK Sarajevo in the mid-1970s. Savić went on to spend four seasons with the club, appearing in 91 Yugoslav First League matches and scoring 31 goals. During his time at Sarajevo Savić became one of the top Yugoslav strikers, and in the 1977–78 Yugoslav First League, 1977–78 season he was the league's top scorer with 21 goals in 33 appearances. In the 1978–79 season he helped the Sarajevo finished fourth, which was the club's best result in years. Ilijaš
Ilijaš ( sr-cyrl, Илијаш) is a town and municipality located in Sarajevo Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is located northwest of the inner city of Sarajevo and was established in May 1952 with the organization of people's committees. Those local people's committees founded the local municipalities, which led to the self-management of the municipalities, including the municipality of Ilijaš. 1979–80 Yugoslav First League
The 1979–80 Yugoslav First League was won by Red Star Belgrade. Teams A total of eighteen teams contested the league, including sixteen sides from the 1978–79 season and two sides promoted from the 1978–79 Yugoslav Second League (YSL) as winners of the two second level divisions East and West. The league was contested in a double round robin format, with each club playing every other club twice, for a total of 34 rounds. Two points were awarded for wins and one point for draws. NK Zagreb and OFK Belgrade were relegated from the 1978–79 Yugoslav First League after finishing the season in bottom two places of the league table.
