Granados, Sonora
Granados is the municipal seat of Granados Municipality in the northeast of the Mexican state of Sonora. The municipal area is 361.27 km2, and the population was 1,228 according to the 2000 census. By 2005 the population had decreased to 938 due to emigration due to insufficient educational infrastructure and the lack of job opportunities. The terrain is mountainous and the average annual temperature is 19 °C. The rainy season is from July to September and the average annual rainfall is 485.9 mm. Subsistence agriculture and cattle raising are the main economic activities. The main crops are corn and beans and grasses for fodder. Calves are exported to the United States of America. Sahuaripa
Sahuaripa is a town in the Mexican state of Sonora, municipality of Sahuaripa. The area is 5,694.4 km². with a population of 5,792 in 2005. The town and municipal seat had a population of 3,807 in 2000. Location The municipal seat is located in the east of the state at at an elevation of 1,165 meters above sea level. Puerto Peñasco
Puerto Peñasco ( ood, Geʼe Ṣuidagĭ) is a small city located in Puerto Peñasco Municipality in the northwest of the Mexican state of Sonora, from the border with the U.S. state of Arizona. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 62,689 inhabitants. It is located on the northern shores of the Sea of Cortez on the small strip of land that joins the Baja California Peninsula with the rest of Mexico. Navojoa
Navojoa is the fifth-largest city in the northern Mexican state of Sonora and is situated in the southern part of the state. The city is the administrative seat of Navojoa Municipality, located in the Mayo River Valley. Nácori Chico
Nácori Chico is a small town in Nácori Chico Municipality in the east of the Mexican state of Sonora. Area and population The municipal seat had a population of 999 in 2000. It is located at an elevation of 900 meters. Geography The land is mountainous and is part of the spurs of the Sierra Madre Occidental mountains. Magdalena De Kino
Magdalena de Kino () is a city, part of the surrounding municipality of the same name, located in the Mexican state of Sonora covering approximately 560 square miles (1,460 square kilometers). According to the 2005 census, the city's population was 23,101, and the municipality's population was 25,500.
