Joshua Radin (born June 14, 1974) is an American singer-songwriter. He has recorded nine studio albums, and his songs have been used in a number of films and TV series. His most successful album, ''Simple Times'', was released in 2008. Beginnings Joshua Radin was born and raised in Shaker Heights, Ohio, United States, to a Jewish family of Polish, German, Austrian, and Russian background. He studied drawing and painting at Northwestern University, following his college years with stints as an art teacher, screenwriter, and art gallery employee. Radin turned to music when he moved to New York City, his father bought him a guitar, and he taught himself to play and write music. Following a bachelor and master's degree in electrical engineering and a PhD in educational psychology Radin worked at Bell Labs, as a researcher at Princeton University and the University of Edinburgh, and was a faculty member at University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Roy Radin
Roy Radin (13 November 1949 – last seen 13 May 1983, remains found 10 June 1983) was an American show business promoter who packaged vaudeville shows and oldies music nostalgia tours in the 1970s and early 1980s. He was probably best known for his attempts to help finance the film '' The Cotton Club'' (1984), and as the subsequent victim of a murder-for-hire at age 33. The trial in which four people were sentenced related to Radin's killing became known as " The Cotton Club Murder." Milan Radin ( sr-cyr, Милан Радин; born 25 June 1991) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Dinamo Batumi. Furio Radin (born 1 June 1950) is a Croatian politician who is currently serving as a Member of the Croatian Parliament for the Italian national minority, an office he has held since 7 September 1992. He has also been the Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Human Rights and Rights of National Minorities since 2000, and one of the Deputy Speakers of the Parliament since 9 June 2017. Adolph Moses Radin (August 5, 1848 – February 5, 1909) was a Polish-born Jewish-American rabbi. Life Radin was born on August 5, 1848 in Neustadt-Schirwindt, Congress Poland, the son of Marcus Radin and Hinde Ritow. Radin received his Talmudic education in Volozhin and Eiseshok. He then went to Prussia and studied in the University of Berlin, the University of Königsberg (where he edited the "Jüdische Grenzbote"), and the University of Greifswald (where he received his Ph.D.). He then worked as a rabbi, first in Prussia at Mewe and Kempen and then in Poland at Kalisz and Łódź. He immigrated to America in the fall of 1886, and within a month he became rabbi of the Jewish congregation at Elmira, New York and visiting Jewish chaplain of the New York State Reformatory in that city. Max Radin (March 29, 1880 – June 22, 1950 ) was an American legal scholar, philologist, and author. The noted anthropological scholar Paul Radin was his younger brother. Radin ( sr-cyr, Радин), known under his full name, Radin Butković, was a Bosnian nobleman and magnate, who also served as ''gost'', a high ranking prelate of the Bosnian Church during the 15th century in medieval Bosnia. As his vernacular name suggests, Radin was a local cleric elected by the Bosnians themselves. He was probably born around 1400 in Seonica, village in medieval župa and the settlement Neretva, today the town of Konjic in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
