''Radiant Black'' is an American comic book series published by Image Comics and written by Kyle Higgins and drawn by Marcelo Costa. The series began publication around February 2021 and is currently ongoing. It is also a part of Image's Massive-Verse. Synopsis The series follows Nathan Burnett, who discovers and unlocks the ethereal, cosmic Radiant, and Nathan's best friend Marshall, who takes over for Nathan as Radiant Black following an incident that leaves Nathan hospitalized. Image Comics is an American comic book publisher and is the third largest comic book and graphic novel publisher in the industry in both unit and market share. An American comic book is a thin periodical originating in the United States, on average 32 pages, containing comics. The Massive-Verse is a shared universe, created by Kyle Higgins, which spans a line of comic books published by Image Comics. Publication history In November 2020, it was announced that Higgins was writing another creator-owned book for Image Comics entitled ''Radiant Black'', with art by Marcelo Costa. The series officially began publication in February 2021. The series would grow so popular, that it would expand into its own universe of books dubbed "The Massive-Verse". It all started with a one-shot crossover entitled ''Supermassive'', written by Higgins, Ryan Parrott, and Mat Groom with art by Francesco Manna and Simone Ragazzoni.
