Rachid Arhab
Rachid Arhab (born 26 June 1955 in Larbaâ Nath Irathen in Algeria) is a French journalist and a member of the Conseil supérieur de l'audiovisuel (CSA). Early life Born on 26 June 1955 in Fort-National (now named Larbaâ Nath Irathen), in a mountainous Kabyle region of northern Algeria, Arhab spent his childhood in Fameck, near Thionville in Lorraine. He obtained French nationality in 1992. After studying journalism in Strasbourg, he worked as a journalist on FR3 Nancy in 1977, then in Reims and in Paris. TV career News broadcasts In 1985 he joined ''Politique Intérieure'' on Antenne 2, where he became the head of department in 1990. In the summer, he hosted the news broadcasting on France 2 from 1992 to 1994, while he continued his work as a reporter for '' Envoyé spécial'' and ''Géopolis''. Larbaâ Nath Irathen
Larbaâ Nath Irathen (Kabyle language, Kabyle: Larebɛa n at Yiraten, or in Tifinagh, Arabic language, Arabic: الأربعاء ناث اراتين) is a town in Tizi Ouzou Province, in the central part of northern Algeria. It was formerly known as Fort National. The population in 2001 was 28,000. The area is renowned for its majestic scenery. Gérard Holtz
Gérard Holtz (born 8 December 1946) is a French sports journalist. Early life and education Gérard Holtz was born in Paris and grew up in the area of Belleville. At the age of eight, he nearly died from an accident and contracted tuberculosis. He was sent until the age of ten in a sanitorium in the department of Corrèze to be treated. The doctor diagnosed that he will stay with rachitis and will never be able to do sports again. Holtz will later determine that he will do anything else in life to show the contrary. Holtz graduated with a DESS of public law and later studied at the French Press Institute before graduating at the Centre de formation des journalistes (CFJ) of Paris in 1972. Kabyle People
The Kabyle people ( kab, Izwawen or ''Leqbayel'' or ''Iqbayliyen'', ) are a Berber ethnic group indigenous to Kabylia in the north of Algeria, spread across the Atlas Mountains, east of Algiers. They represent the largest Berber-speaking population of Algeria and the second largest in North Africa. Many of the Kabyles have emigrated from Algeria, influenced by factors such as the Algerian Civil War, cultural repression by the central Algerian government, and overall industrial decline. The ''7 d'Or'' or ''Sept d'Or'' ( French for "Seven of Gold" or "Golden Seven") was a French television production award (similar in nature to the Emmy Awards), presented by '' Télé 7 Jours'' (a weekly French magazine with listings of TV shows). The awards were presented in the fall of each year from 1985 to 2003 (no awards were presented in 1992, 1998 and 2002) during a televised "Night of the 7 d'Or" awards ceremony (1988 and 2003 were not televised). The first ceremonies took place in Le Lido in Paris. Since 2003, several attempts have been made to bring back the "7 d'Or" awards.
