Although she has had some success in the mainstream R&B, pop, gospel and classical music scenes, she is noted for her talents as a contemporary jazz singer. Soul music is a popular music genre that originated in the African American community throughout the United States in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Recording sessions took place at Le Gonks West and Andora Recording Studio in Los Angeles, at The Blue Room in Philadelphia, and at O'Henry Sound Studios in Burbank. All songs overdubbed and mixed by Erik Zobler at Le Gonks West, a studio owned by George Duke, who served as producer of the album. It features guest appearances from Jonathan Butler and Russ Barnes. Wilfred "Will" Downing (born November 29, 1963) is an American singer and songwriter. He is married to singer Audrey Wheeler, who was a member of the R&B group Unlimited Touch. Biography Downing enrolled in Erasmus Hall High School in Brooklyn, New York.
