Rabeh Al-Hussaini
Rabeh Ahmed T. Al-Hussaini (born August 11, 1988) is a Filipino professional basketball player who last played for the Blackwater Elite of the PBA. A power forward/center, he played five seasons for the Ateneo de Manila Blue Eagles in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines from 2005 to 2009 and led the Eagles to back-to-back basketball championships in his last two seasons with them. He averaged 24.6 point per game, 13 rebounds per game, and 2 assists per game. Professional career Philippine Basketball Association Al-Hussaini entered the 2010 PBA draft, and was selected as the second overall pick by the Air21 Express. It was expected that either he or Nonoy Baclao, his Ateneo teammate, were to go Number 1 in the draft. Baclao was eventually drafted first overall by the Express. Tropang TNT
The TNT Tropang Giga is a professional basketball team currently owned by Smart Communications, a subsidiary of the Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT), playing in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) since 1990. The franchise began in 1990 when Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines, Inc. (PCPPI) acquired a PBA franchise. Under PCPPI, the franchise played under the names Pepsi and 7 Up. In 1996, the franchise came under the control of Pilipino Telephone Corporation (Piltel) and played under the name Mobiline. 2010 PBA Draft
The 2010 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) rookie draft was an event held at Market! Market! in Taguig on August 29, 2010 that allowed PBA teams to draft players from the amateur ranks. Players who applied for the draft went through a rookie camp that lasted a week. The San Miguel Beermen were the only team that did not have a single pick in the draft. Draft lottery The lottery was held on August 6, 2010 before the start of the 2010 PBA Fiesta Conference Finals at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. UAAP Season 68 was the 2005–06 season of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. Several events were held, the most prominent was the UAAP Basketball Champions, basketball tournament. Ateneo Blue Eagles
The Ateneo Blue Eagles are the collegiate varsity teams of the Ateneo de Manila University that play in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), the premiere collegiate league in the Philippines. The collegiate women's varsity basketball team is called the ''Lady Eagles''. The Ateneo collegiate men's varsity basketball team was not always called the Blue Eagles. It got the name Blue Eagles when Ateneo adopted the ''Eagle'' as its mascot in 1938. Prior to that, from 1914 it was known under different names.
