Andres Raag
Andres Raag (born 24 June 1970) is an Estonian stage, film, radio and television actor and singer with the band L'Dorado since 1993. Early life and education Andres Raag was born and attended schools in Tallinn. His mother is actress Kersti Kreismann and his step-father was writer, essayist and theatre director Mati Unt. During his formative years, he spent much of his time with his paternal grandparents. Following his graduation from secondary school he attended the Tallinn State Conservatory (now, the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre), studying drama at the institution's Performing Arts Department. Among his graduating classmates were Merle Palmiste, Kaili Närep, Kristel Leesmend, Ivo Uukkivi, Jaanus Rohumaa, Üllar Saaremäe, Dan Põldroos, Sten Zupping, Tiina Mälberg and Garmen Tabor. Ilmar Raag (born 21 May 1968 in Kuressaare) is an Estonian media executive, actor, screenwriter and film director, best known for his socio-critical film '' The Class''. He has served as CEO of Estonian Television from 2002 to 2005. He is a well known columnist in many prestigious Estonian newspapers (''Postimees'', ''Eesti Päevaleht''). He has written many scripts and directed critically acclaimed films, notably ''August 1991'' and ''The Class''. Life Raag was born in Kuressaare on 21 May 1968. Kaljo Raag
Kaljo-Feliks Raag (3 June 1892 – 10 April 1967) was an Estonian heavyweight weightlifter who won a bronze medal at the 1922 World Championships and placed seventh at the 1924 Summer Olympics. He won the national heavyweight title in 1925 and 1927 and set six national records. After retiring from competitions Raag acted as a weightlifting coach, referee and official. Besides wrestling he was known as a singer and theater actor. He performed as an actor at the Valga theatre from 1919 until 1922 and as a choral singer and soloist at the Estonia Theatre from 1928 until 1933.
