Ra'eese Aleem (; born June 21, 1990) is an American professional boxer who held the WBA interim super bantamweight title in 2021. Professional career Ra'eese Aleem turned professional in 2011, with a second-round technical knockout of Dewaun Bell. He amassed a 15-0 record before making his TV debut on February 14, 2020, with a third-round stoppage victory against Saul Eduardo Hernandez. On August 1, 2020, he notched a tenth-round technical knockout of Marcus Bates. Super bantamweight, also known as junior featherweight, is a weight class in professional boxing, contested from and up to . There were attempts by boxing promoters in the 1920s to establish this weight class, but few sanctioning organizations or state athletic commissions would recognize it. Jack Wolf won recognition as champion when he beat Joe Lynch at Madison Square Garden on September 21, 1922, but afterwards the weight division fell into disuse. Santander Arena
The Santander Arena (formerly known as the Sovereign Center) is a 7,160-seat multi-purpose arena, in Reading, Pennsylvania. It was built in 2001. The arena sits on the former site of the Astor Theater; one of several grand movie and theater palaces built in Reading in the early 20th century. Closed in 1975, the theater sat vacant for over two decades. In 1998, the Astor was demolished to make room for the Santander Arena. Early in construction, steps were taken to retain mementos of the Astor, including its ornate Art Deco chandelier and gates. These are on display and in use inside the arena corridors, allowing insight into the ambience of the former movie house.
