ROH 2nd Anniversary Show
ROH 2nd Anniversary Show was the second ROH Anniversary Show professional wrestling event produced by Ring of Honor (ROH). It took place on February 14, 2004, at the National Guard Armory in Braintree, Massachusetts. The show featured a tournament to crown the inaugural Pure Wrestling Champion, with A.J. Styles defeating CM Punk in the tournament final to become the first Pure Wrestling Champion. Apart from the tournament, Samoa Joe retained the ROH World Championship against B. J. Ring Of Honor
Ring of Honor (ROH) is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Jacksonville, Florida. The promotion was founded by Rob Feinstein on February 23, 2002, and was operated by Cary Silkin from 2004 until 2011, when the promotion was sold to the Sinclair Broadcast Group. The ROH World Tag Team Championship is a professional wrestling world tag team championship contested for in the American professional wrestling promotion Ring of Honor. The championship is generally contested in professional wrestling matches, in which participants usually execute scripted finishes rather than contend in direct competition. The Briscoes (Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe) are the current champions in their thirteenth reign. Chad Collyer
Chad Collyer (born December 12, 1974) is an American professional wrestler. Professional wrestling career Collyer attended Manchester College, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He was an accomplished amateur wrestler, winning multiple championships over an eleven-year period, but decided to turn professional and continue his amateur career at Manchester College during his freshman year. Upon graduation, Collyer traveled to Tampa, Florida to train at the Malenko Pro Wrestling School under Dean Malenko and Jeff Bradley. Collyer began training on August 3, 1997. Brian Woermann (born July 21, 1979) is a former American professional wrestler, better known by his ring name, Matt Stryker. Professional wrestling career Brian Woermann attended Milford High School, where he played basketball and Diving. After graduating, Woermann obtained a job selling cars while trying to pursue a career in Law Enforcement through one of his brothers with the Village of Terrace Park Police Dept. After various run-ins with the law and some convictions, Brian's Law Enforcement career was abruptly cut short. Final Battle (2003)
Final Battle is a professional wrestling event, held annually by the Ring of Honor Professional wrestling promotion, promotion. The event was initially held in 2002, and is traditionally ROH's last show in the calendar year. The Final Battle 2009, 2009 edition of the show was ROH's first internet pay-per-view, and the first ROH show to be broadcast live. The Final Battle 2010, 2010 edition and the Final Battle 2011, 2011 edition were also broadcast live via the internet. Between 2006 and 2014, every event was held at either the Grand Ballroom or the Hammerstein Ballroom of the Manhattan Center in New York City. Just about any singles or melee match type can be adapted to tag teams; for example, hardcore tag team matches are commonplace. Peter Joseph "PJ" Polaco (born October 16, 1973) is a retired American professional wrestler, best known for his appearances with Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) and the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) under the ring name Justin Credible. The Carnage Crew
The Carnage Crew was a professional wrestling stable in Ring of Honor. History The Carnage Crew of Loc and DeVito had their first ROH match together at ''Night of Appreciation'' defeating The Ring Crew Express. They were very hard-hitting and used many high impact moves. At the time, there were two other similar teams in ROH: Da Hit Squad and the Natural Born Sinners. At ''Crowning a Champion'', The Carnage Crew had a brutal Bunkhouse Match against the Sinners. The match featured chairs, barbed wire, and hubcaps. Jay Lethal
Jamar Shipman (born April 29, 1985), better known by the ring name Jay Lethal, is an American professional wrestler currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Dubbed "The Franchise" of Ring of Honor, Lethal is a two-time ROH World Champion, and holds the record for most combined days with the ROH World Championship in company history.
