RNF Racing
RNF Racing is a Malaysian independent Grand Prix motorcycle racing team that began competing in the 2022 season. The team competed with Yamaha motorcycles in the MotoGP class as a satellite team under the name WithU Yamaha RNF MotoGP Team, and in MotoE under the name WithU GRT RNF MotoE Team. For 2023, it was announced that Romanian Tech company CryptoData had purchased a majority stake in the team which would use Aprilia machines and the name CryptoData Aprilia RNF MotoGP Team. History The team's origins began with the Sepang Racing Team (SRT) under ownership by the Sepang International Circuit and managed by circuit CEO Razlan Razali and former racers Johan Stigefelt and Wilco Zeelenberg. During the 2021 season, the principal sponsor Petronas announced they would be removing their support for the team at the end of the season, and shortly thereafter SRT announced they would cease all racing activities at the end of the season. 2023 MotoGP World Championship
The 2023 FIM MotoGP World Championship will be the premier class of the 75th F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. Teams and riders All teams use series-specified Michelin tyres. Bradley Smith (motorcyclist)
Bradley Smith (born 28 November 1990) is a British occasional motorcycle racer who for 2022 is linked to RNF E-Racing in MotoE. He was injured shortly after a Le Mans start when he was the opening rider team for Moto Ain Yamaha, at an FIM Endurance World Championship event in April 2022. He missed the opening three rounds of the MotoE racing season, being declared unfit to race at the third round at Mugello on 29 May 2022. Late in 2022, Smith was called-in to ride as a rookie in the World Supersport Championship class, to replace injured Leonardo Taccini. Smith finished 14th after a three-place penalty in the first race at Circuito San Juan Villicum (Argentina), but was taken out when Luca Bernadi crashed into the rear of his Ten Kate Yamaha R6 at turn one early in the second race. Energica Ego Corsa
The Energica Ego is an electrically propelled sport road motorcycle designed and marketed by Energica Motor Company. It is claimed by Energica to be the world's first street-legal electric Italian sport motorcycle. The prototype was finished in 2013 and the vehicle came into the market in 2015. The prototype made use of new technologies such as CNC and 3D-printing, including the dashboard and headlights which were 3D-printed. Design The Ego is an all-electric motorcycle. It has a 107 kW motor with 200 N⋅m of torque (at low RPM) giving it a top speed of 240 km/h. The motor is powered by an 11.7 kW⋅h battery. The 2022 MotoE World Cup (known officially as the 2022 FIM Enel MotoE World Cup for sponsorship reasons) will be the fourth season of the MotoE World Cup for electric motorcycle racing, and is part of the 74th F.I.M. Cal Crutchlow (born 29 October 1985) is an English professional motorcycle racer who retired from regular competition after the 2020 season. He is contracted as a test rider for Yamaha Motor Racing, which he is expected to continue in 2022 and 2023.
