RML Short Wheelbase
The RML Short Wheelbase is a grand tourer produced by the RML Group. History The Short Wheelbase, designed as a coupé, was presented in May 2021 after around three years of development. Series production of the vehicle, which is limited to 30 examples, is scheduled to begin at the end of 2021. The model is reminiscent of the Ferrari 250 GT SWB built between 1959 and 1962 with 167 copies built. The design takes up numerous elements of the Ferrari. Among other things, the shape of the radiator grille, the missing bumpers or the air scoop in the bonnet are design elements that Ferrari also used. However, the multi-spoke wheels does not have wing nuts. The Short Wheelbase also does not use any plastic in the interior. Instead, aluminum, glass and leather are used. In contrast to the 250 GT SWB, the car has air conditioning and a navigation system, which can be lowered into the center console. Ray Mallock Ltd., also known as RML Group, is a motorsports and high performance engineering company, based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom. Early history Ray Mallock began building racing cars, alongside his brother Richard, as an assistant to his father, Major Arthur Mallock, who created the Mallock U2 chassis for Clubmans racing. After racing in Formula 3, Formula Atlantic and sports car racing, Mallock founded his team, Ray Mallock Atlantic Racing, in 1979, which he renamed RML in 1984. S-segment cars are a European car spotter for ''sport cars''. The cars are often described as sports cars and the equivalent Euro NCAP class is called "roadster sport". Characteristics S-segment cars have a sporting appearance and are usually designed to have superior handling and/or straight-line acceleration compared to other segments. Ferrari F116/F133 Engine
The F116 engine family is a series of 65° DOHC V12 petrol engines produced by Ferrari since 1992. Introduced with the 456 GT, this engine had a displacement of 5.5 L and was a fresh new design who replaced the previous Colombo-derived ''F101'' 60° V12 engines used in Ferrari 412 four-seater.
