Rukometni klub Radnički ( sr-cyr, Рукометни клуб Раднички), commonly referred to as Radnički Kragujevac, is a men's and women's professional handball club based in Kragujevac, Serbia. It's a part of the Radnički multi-sports company. The men's team competes in Serbian Handball Super League, while women's team competes in Serbian First League for Women. History The club is founded in 1964. The men's team finished the 2013–14 season occupying the second place with 15 points (same as the defending champion, Vojvodina) in the Serbian Handball Super League play-off. That finish qualified them to compete in the EHF Challenge Cup as well as the SEHA Gazprom League. The men's team finished the 2014–15 season in the Serbian Handball Super League play-off on fifth place with six points, however, getting the chance to compete in the EHF Cup qualifying stage in 2015–16 season due to Partizan dropping out of the competition. Handball (also known as team handball, European handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. A standard match consists of two periods of 30 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins. Modern handball is played on a court of , with a goal in the middle of each end. Founded on 17 November 1991, it is made of 50 member federations and two associated federations (England and Scotland), and is headquartered in Vienna, Austria. Nemanja Ilić (; born 11 May 1990) is a Serbian handball player for Fenix Toulouse and the Serbia national team. Club career After coming through the youth categories of Partizan, Ilić spent two seasons on loan with Radnički Kragujevac. Vuk Lazović (born 10 March 1988) is Montenegrin handball player for RK Partizan and the Montenegro national team. Club career Lazović started out at Partizan and made his Serbian Handball Super League debut in its inaugural 2006–07 season. He was later loaned to Radnički Kragujevac for the 2008–09 season.
